Saw Uriah Heep in Virginia in 74. they were the headliner, Elvin Bishop opened and some upstart named Rod Stuart and Faces was the middle group.

Impossible question as one discovery led into the next and the another and another. However the song that changed me was hearing Truckin’ by the Grateful dead. That took me on a journey with that band that still continues today.

Led Zeppelin Greatest hits
Steve Miller band Greatest hits 1974-78 --> Who doesn't love this one!?!!

Oh yeah. There are definitely some clear age segmentations. It's pretty obvious in any political discussions too.
