If people voted strictly on issues outcomes would be different. It would be interesting to see if you could have a society that votes digitally on the blockchain over all bills rather than senators... It would probably never happen but that would be some real democracy, rather than electing someone who has no obligation to do the things they said or even follow the wishes of their constituents.

How would an American President bring freedom in Canada ? You realize that we have as much freedom as the Americans plus a better record now in terms of freedom to vote. His lack of management skills with Covid is what cost him the election in 2020.... and you want him back to change things on this side of the "Canadian " border !?!? You'd be better to get a new movement going to unify North America and see how much support you get on this side of the border. Best of luck with that !
Yeah, because Biden's management skills have been so spectacular. Despite having the benefit of vaccines, more people have died with Covid under Biden, than under Trump, yet Trump was blamed by left-wingnuts for every death. I doubt you hold Biden to the same level of responsibility, because logic and fairness isn't part of the equation when your only approach is political propaganda.
If people are too stupid to get vaccinated the death rates will continue, Trumps followers are still paying a hefty price for their admiration for that goof!

The US and in Canada to a lesser extent the overly politicized Covid management has caused misinformation to flourish causing unnecessary lost of lives and government to subsidize their base and everybody for that matter with free money . The lives wasted and the cost of all this will be felt for generations to come .

If you look at the margin Biden was elected with in the swing states is pretty much what trump was able to achieve against Clinton ...so small that he should have been easily reelected if he would have swayed a few thousands in the center politically . That's what makes me say a better management and constant message would have won him a second term. Keep in mind I was not wishing it back then but I'm being honest about what cost him during the 2020 campaign.

Black people are most reluctant to get vaccinated in the US. Don't think most are Trump supporters. Remember when Kamala Harris said she'd never take a vaccine developed under Trump? I guess even though she lied about it, she still managed to convince other back people to refuse vaccinations.

You take a statistically insignificant group, and glide past the large number of black people who are refusing to get vaccinated. Asians comprise just 6% of the US population. And are you claiming most Asians are Trump supporters?

Among this group, nearly two thirds were White (58%), 10% were Black, 19% were Hispanic, 6% were Asian, 1% were American Indian or Alaska Native (AIAN), and <1% were Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander (NHOPI), while 6% reported multiple or other race.
Black people, who make up 10% of people who have received at least one dose and 11% of those recently vaccinated, compared to 12% of the population. In contrast, Hispanic people make up a larger share of vaccinated people (19%) and people who recently received a vaccination (23%) compared to their share of the total population (17%). The share of vaccinated people who are Asian is proportionate to their share of the total population (both 6%).
