Thanks for letting me into your community and giving me access to the reviews that will hopefully lend a little clarity in a world of so much temptation!

I attempted to connect with one of the more favorably reviewed providers here but I got off on the wrong foot.

She asked for a very modest e-transfer deposit and being from the states, the kind of transfer she was seeking isn't possible from my US bank. She specifically pointed out that "e-transfers" are a Canadian specific product but I've never banked in Canada so I didn't know any better. I hear so many terms thrown around for electronically transferring funds these days, I didn't recognize that "e-transfer" was specific product. Now I know!

I can't blame this young lady for being skeptical but going forward, what is the best way to establish myself as a reliable, safe client? Where should I start? Should I go to a spa? Is there a particular agency that specializes in walking a newbide through the process and introducing me to the hobby in a way that I don't offend or cause concerns for the ladies going forward?

Thanks!

You have some choices here. First one, and not my preferred method but some people will say just don’t see providers that require a deposit. I have no opinion on this approach but if I’m sending a deposit I’ve done a lot of research regarding the credibility of the provider.
Next, I just found out you can buy a gift card and send the details to the provider as a form of deposit. What I have figured out is that there are 1 of 2 things going on. One is a deposit, this is to secure the time and for the provider to see a level of commitment on the part of the client. Two is screening. Screening is more invasive and generally requires a pic of your face, your ID, a reference and/ or a link to your social media. E-transfers I think fall in between the two, the time is secured but there is a sense of security for the provider that if something goes amuck and the client turns into an asshole there is a paper trail for John Q. Law to follow. I have no problem with this, it’s very easy to set up a bank account that “no one needs to know about” (my SO).
How do you establish yourself as a reliable safe client? Well, simply be a reliable safe client. Do your research, trust your gut and check Perb. If something doesn’t feel right, don’t do it. I once set up a duo with a lady I had seen many times and another provider. Last minute, like less than 12 hours before the date the 2nd provider decided she wanted 1/2 down on the session. As a result I backed out, lost contact with my regular and missed out on what I thought would be a promising session. That’s life, I didnt feel comfortable so I followed my gut.
Show up, on time, not early, certainly not late. Be clean, scrub your junk, it’s the #1 complaint by SW on social media. I seriously wonder if guys are stuck in the thinking that touching their butt or cleaning it is gay, it’s not. I personally love playing with my butt and having it played with butt that’s another story, just wash the thing. Have the cash, ready, up front, packaged in the manner requested.
Sex workers are no different than regular women in some ways. Read the ad, follow the instructions, be polite, don’t waste time. Don’t ask for things they don’t provide (you read the ad remember?), don’t over stay your welcome and just have fun!
Theres lots more to this than what I put, others can add. Be safe.

Thanks for the quick reply!

I didn't have a problem with the deposit at all. Securing time, establishing paper trail...certainly understandable from any professional regardless. Semantics got in the way a little here as "e-transfer" is a little generic and in conjures up any number of ways to transfer funds electronically in my mind. While I'm a little skeptical of sending photo ID to an unknown party, the paper trail aspect of your response makes all the sense in the world. I may bounce into a bank tomorrow and see I can open a Canadian account or do anyone have any other avenues for e-transferring?

If anyone has a banking recommendation that might make sense for someone in my position, please let me know.

Thanks again!

I use shakepay. It's an app I transfer funds into from my bank account (usually through interact e-transfers). It takes about 30min to verify your identity. So it does require you to take a picture of some government photo ID, in my case it'll be my BC driver's license. Then use that to e-transfer it out, usually using an email address. Side note, I also use that app to buy Bitcoins >.> So for those with SO, that can be your cover story lol

Best way is to jump in. There arent any spas that specialize in newbies. Read the forums here and you will learn a lot, it will take you a long way. Generally speaking, start with places that have consistently positive reviews so your dont burn your fingers right off the bat.

I absolutely love introducing newbies to this world and would be happy to find an alternative way for you to get me a deposit! I’m also happy to be a reference for any client I’ve seen in the past 6 months and I’m quite well known in town so I’d be happy to help you out with that after we meet, also! 😘
