I just just moving to the island first and if you don’t like living away from Vancouver/your family then you can always come back but if it is the right choice then you can move elsewhere. It’s better than making a rash decision based on emotions,
I wish you the best of luck 🥰

I started over, in a big way meaning from scratch, 5 times I think. Throwing away they, that is getting rid of everything. I also traveled for many years living out of a backpack. I found that to be the most rewarding experience. And a good life at this - many of the countries are even now very cheap on a Canadian dollar. I am in Vancouver for a while now because of reasons unforseen and just life at it throws things at you. And I am not from here. Vancouver is probably the most unfriendly and toxic city in my experience. Very clicky, very boring, superficial. And more expensive by the month. No matter where you go you will probably breath easier. But then, I don’t know what you are really looking for and enjoying. My plan is to go back to Asia, as I have a very similar dream as the earlier female poster. But there are other countries similar to thoze in South East Asia, in terms of being affordable. Thete are even such great countries in Europe. It's easier for me though because I also have the EU passport.

How about going travel for a year? These are difficult times, so it wouldn't be an adventure like before. But still adventure. Stay in hostels, you will meet people and discover perhaps what you are looking for.

Too funny 😂
I’ve been to 22 countries and Vancouver is the friendliest…living in a resort community

Just want to say my post is full of misspellings and that's because I've been on my stupid phone with auto correct and small screen.
