Pros & Cons of Indies VS Massage Parlours

I've always been reluctant to go to a Massage Parlour for discretionary reasons, as well as because of the assembly-line atmosphere, probable language issues, and possibility of trafficking, and have always booked independent providers. ( I did go to a place once, to experience the Turkish Bath-scrub thing, but, while interesting, wasn't that great.)

For those reasons I've always preferred to Indie provider.

I'm wondering what factors go into why you prefer one over the other, or what benefits or drawbacks each approach has?

The best thing about massage parlours is the hassle free convenience. A quick text or phone call to see if they are available, and then you can walk in. No back and forth trying to line up schedules and availability.

You could also try something like us, a bit of a middle ground. Same convenience, coupled with privacy and discretion.

I think the indy experience feels a bit more relaxed in the sense of less activity/more private. I find the indy provider tends to create more atmosphere in the room in terms of lighting and music choice. When you are running your own business versus working in some one else's establishment you can design it as you think best fits the experience you are trying to deliver.

Exactly! It takes me two hours to get ready for an appointment cause I do all fresh laundry and folded towels, light an incense and multiple candles, make my room comfortable but unique to me

I like walk-in massage places because;

• can get a variety of girls at a facility that you know (i.e. I go back to the same ones which have good cleaning, showers, parking, etc.)
• even if I book a specific girl I can still ask for a line up to judge for a future pick
• if the indie or the massage are well reviewed you reduce your disappointment risk, and if not reviewed I feel that the disappointment risk is lower for a parlour
• massage places are somewhat more tolerant if you are late
• bad side to the massage is if you get a place where they hide the choices and try to get you to try girls you ordinarily wouldn't
• generally things have turned out better for me at parlours compared to indies

Still interested in trying out some of the indies reviewed here and less longer willing to TOFTT indie wise whereas still will do it for parlours.

Also interested in groups like AF because they are fairly in presenting the ladies.

You have to be very careful with Indies - they will offer you the moon but will not diliver like for example Sensualgenius. I got ripped off.

My two cents:

My most amazing experiences have happened with Indies: Katerina Kova in Victoria (still working, but only with regulars), Angela in the Valley (super kinky, but retired). But also my most disappointing (purged from my mind and can't remember names). So, I have found the amplitude is wider with Indies, but I get a more consistent, and fun, experience at the MPs: Ashley from Tiger (retiredish??), Bella from Tiger (definitely retired), Claudia from Tiger (just retired), Natalia from Lotus (still working), Cindy from Lotus (still working, I think...).

In baseball terms, IMHO, if you want to go for the home run keep swinging for the fences with Indies; if you're into getting on base with singles and doubles (and the odd triple), stick to the MPs.

My only massage place experience was the Turkish bath scrub and was less than impressed. I'm not sure how they work but I feel that with an indie provider all my money is going to them and not the handlers and bookers. I may be out in left field about this but it's how I feel. I've had nothing but positive experiences with indies. Do your homework and search on Perb and you should be able to avoid most of the flakes.

I think a lot of it depends on how you got started in terms of seeing SP's.

I began by seeing Independent SP's and did so for the first few years. It wasn't until just this past year or so that I decided to venture out and try a well reviewed massage parlour here in WPG. The feeling of the session at the massage parlour just wasn't anything close to what it was when I would visit an independent SP at her incall and overall just felt a bit too impersonal for my liking. I've continued to see independent SP's and enjoy the booking process and sessions that come with it.

With that being said I can totally see how a person who started out by going to an MP would potentially struggle with making the move to seeing independent providers. For those that don't enjoy planning ahead it is far more convenient to visit an MP as quality independent's typically require advance notice and a more thorough booking process.

Don't MP's have add-ons that make the initial price seem low, but aren't really?

I generally haven't found the cost difference between a good Indie and a good MP to be much in the ladies I have seen. Add-ons seem to cost about the same for both. However I avoided some of the Indie ladies (especially fly-ins) who seem to be outrageously expensive.

A number of the AMP'S I've been seeing have been in the $200 range. Indies are $300 and up.
