A nice peaceful Sunday morning drive from Ganymede to Jupiter.

And what is as amazing as the whole thing of watching a REAL film as a SPACESHIP flies around Jupiter and its FREAKING MOONS, is that it is all in HD, I mean full on 3k x 2k resolution, with a picture quality as good as my Netflix.
I mean WOW!! Just Wow.

It takes years to get there. By the time it arrives its cameras are obsolete!

And just think of the images the next batch of long range craft are going to send back with today's 100Mpixel VIS-SWIR cameras. All spectrally imaged. Wonderful stuff!!

Although ' real ' in the sense of being actual pictures of Gamamyde , the rendering is using projection onto a sphere. You can tell during the moon flyby because the edge is smooth where it meets space.

Still very cool when you consider the speed and propagation delay of remotely operating the probe.

Huh, I didn’t they had a Jupiter holliday in June. Those fireworks were bright enough, but could use a little colour. Meh.
