Massage is good. I've been there many times. A few times for foot massage and a few for body massage. I also had that type of massage where they walk on your back while hanging from the bars on the ceiling, that was actually quite good.
It is a legit place. Not a sexual/sensual place at all and it's written on posters everywhere from the lobby to inside the rooms to the restroom that there are no sexual acts in that place.

10% tip is actually not good in any industry across Canada. People in the service industry usually get tipped 15-20%.

Bad service/massage =10 percent
average service =15 percent
good service =20 percent
When it’s all cash and prob not all reported...
When you give 10 percent and they ask you for more = never return .
Tiip service industry sure , when they are making 15 bucks an hour And pay their taxes. Typically these workers make 35 to 40 an hour. So 10 percent tip would be 44 to 49 an hour that may not be reportEd. One would have to make 63 an hour to make 44 an hour after taxes. I guess 63 an hour is not good enough not a non-extra , non RMT position.
I get zero percent tip in my job as for “any industry .

I don't pay cash when I go there. I pay the rate, the taxes and the tip on my credit card. You are assuming a whole lot of illegal activity in not reporting their income. That's not cool. You are also assuming that they make 35-40$/hour, which is not true. It's always best to get your facts straight before reporting false info. If you want tips, then change your job. Seems like you're jealous.

I have asked at various agencies what they get paid over the years. It is 35 to 40. You are assuming I did not do my facts which is ”not cool “.I specifically asked my masseuse there how she liked her job and she also told me the rate she gets paid and hence she likes it. I guess I did not get my facts. You are assuming everyone reports their “ cash only basis“ . Another assumption . i said income “may not be reported” . Guess you can’t read and falsely accuse me of reporting false info . Another assumption “ you”re jealous “. Did I say I am jealous ? Did I say I want tips? Did I seem I was jealous of their wages . i am happy with my wage, and I am happy to see and pay for alot of SP’s and MP’s. I stated that at their income level, for what they do, a ten percent tip is fine for a mediocre massage. You are the one that assumes ”any industry “ gets a tip. Yeah, I guess I should tip my doctor and lawyer too. I forgot my real estate agent. For a one million dollar home, I guess I should tip him 150 g On top of his commission .

yes agreed on good service I usually give 20% agree with PL when no extras
When there are extras (ie 80 plus 50) I usually give around 140.... is that normal?

My one and only experience there was a waste of my time and money. I wouldn't go back and I tipped nothing as it pissed me off going in expecting a legit good massage. Crap service doesn't deserve a tip. I'll give 20%or more to the lady that cuts my hair, she told me it's rare anybody tips that much

I'm wondering why I always get good service at many places where PL and KAM don't. Very strange.

I got mixed opinion on this, I personally prefer a flat rat system. but that's not the world we live in. That being said I only! tip for good service extras or not. An what gives anyone the right to care what you put down on your taxes/claim? Who are you IRS/ what ever the Canadian ones called? Is it beaver_hunter job to Sparta kick in the door of little Timmy? Cuz he cut your neighbor's lawn, the government needs there cut of that eh? And no matter what what industry your in, if you go above and beyond for me I'll tip where is cash or a beer or something that just acknowledge that extra 110%.

It's actually PL that has already calculated how much these people make with or without paying taxes so he's more informed to take action although his calculations are wrong ha!
