Maybe that is another good question.....what do we mean by girl next door... I think it is more of that wholesome, regular girl who lived in the apartment next door with her cat....she was nice and friendly, easy to talk to, laughed when you say something funny and looked like she would be a great kisser....probably wore jeans and a tee shirt

IMHO "girl next door" means: first, imagine a girl who's got all sorts of work done to make herself as 'sexually attractive' as possible (i.e. using signals that trigger mens' sexual instincts as much as possible), at the expense of any other kind of aesthetics: 'sexy' rather than beautiful; 'sexy' rather than cute; etc. Some might call such a woman "bimbo-ified."

Now imagine a girl who's the opposite of that — as un-bimbo-y as possible.

If this girl is "anti-sexualized", but is still aesthetically-pleasing in some other way, then she's a "girl next door."
