The ATM needing a limit was why you felt you had an addiction issue and I don't want to question your experience.
However, if a husband has sex with his wife 2 to 3 times a day, 5-7 days a week is it an addiction?
Does the amount of daily sex desired make it an addiction or does the spending of money on the hobby beyond your means create the distinction?
I often think of Tiger Woods and the damage control he had to do after his wife caught him cheating. I never bought for a second it was an addiction for Tiger. He just seemed to like spreading his seed and had the means to afford the hobby.
If a member can afford the hobby and has a strong enough libido to handle 2-3 women a day sexually, I am unsure if it qualifies as an addiction. Sounds like a man who just enjoys lots of sex with beautiful women and can bankroll it.
Interesting points. When I was single, and younger, my libido was pretty strong. I would spend the night with a fuck buddy, drop her off and pick up my girlfriend. Have sex with her at night and the following morning, then drop her off and pick up my ex for more sex. I was attracted to all three for different physical and sexual reasons.
Once married, to a completely different woman, the well kind of dried up. Not a lot of sex at all...so perhaps it’s not an addiction. I simply need a release. Sometimes multiple.
I suppose I used the term addiction because I’ve been known to spend more time seeking an orgasm or physical companionship than doing other things with my free time, and it seems that the more I get, the more I want — limited by my middle aged abilities, of course. In retrospect, given the lack of sex in my relationship, I may just be filling a void. But, yeah, I did have to put a daily limit on the card in an effort to keep things in check financially. Anyhow, enough of my rambling. Apologies for the rant, but thanks for allowing me to unload. Happy pooning.
