Yup, that's some really bad procuring Trudeau did. Why are right-wingers so wrong about everything?

Why are some people unable to read?

The numbers aren't the issue.

The article explains why we won't we get vaccines until September, when other countries will get them much sooner.

Not sure why there's this rant about imposing the idea of vaccine on other people or the notion that "they're not given a choice".

This is perb, is anyone really going to let some random ass perb comments dictate what they do in life? If so, maybe reconsider your exposure to the Internet.

Moderna has already said that vaccines will be coming into Canada in the 1st quarter. There will be other vaccines as well. Like for all countries, vaccinations will probably take place until fall. Coyne just has a real hate on for Trudeau - his cousin was Pierre's lover.

^^ but something worth a mention... if the vaccine doesn’t work.. OR if you get injured by it, you should know vaccine manufacturers have had immunity from legal repercussions in Canada for many years now
And this right here is 100% why I am very very cautious when it comes to this vaccine. If it’s so safe, why do they need complete legal immunity?

I’ve never looked at this from the stupid microchip bullshit people keep using - if the govt wants to track you, guess what they already do and have for a long time. Your smart phone is all they need.

Vitamin C has no actual proven benefits for your immune system. That myth was actually a marketing gimmick, look it up. It will stop you from getting scurvy though. That's about it.

The belief in that myth with no actual evidence to back it up isn't exactly making your case.

Vitamins in general are pretty much bullshit. The best thing people can do for themselves, is some research and critical thinking. To be honest I find it really frustrating that it's so easy for misinformation to spread and people to be misinformed. People believe what they want to believe, which is sad.

Drop the vitamins, and take the damn vaccine. (not medial advice)

LOL - I dare you to go a whole year without taking a single vitamin or mineral. I do my own research - but if you’re going to rush out of the gate with this nonsense, forget it. I’d like to see how long you last without vitamin C, iron, or potassium or vitamin D. You can go first. Along with taking the vaccine. If you say it’s safe, well then it must be!

I don't take vitamins at all. I get vitamins naturally, from food, and vitamin D from sunshine.

Vitamin D deficiency is extremely rare. Pretty much impossible to get in this global location.

If you want to "lol" like it's some sort of known fact, post some research and evidence to back up your claims. Most people don't take vitamins.

"The member opposite was asking what happened to domestic manufacturing in Canada; the Conservative government happened to domestic manufacturing," Trudeau said.

"In 2007 AstraZeneca and Bristol Myers closed their Canadian manufacturing operations. In 2010 Johnson & Johnson, Merck closed their facilities. In 2011 Teva closed one of its Canadian manufacturing operations. In 2012 AstraZeneca, GSK … announced closing and layoffs; that is what happened to manufacturing in Canada," Trudeau said.
The real question is WHY they closed

From your own source..

There isn't enough data to recommend use of vitamin D to prevent infection with the virus that causes COVID-19 or to treat COVID-19, according to the National Institutes of Health and the World Health Organization.
Although yes I do see that it's possible to have a vitamin D deficiency if you don't drink milk, get sunshine, and are pretty thin.

But that's not really an argument for excessive vitamin use.

The problem is that too many people think of their individuals rights instead of the greater good. The greater good could be humanity, country, church or state. All of these things could have hidden agendas, or so people would think. But in reality, they are restricted by law, custom, preception of public good etc.
During WW2 the Cdn government took over organizing war material for the troops overseas. The plan ever since WW2 was to make public corporations private. So if the government had a company that produced a "product", competitors could complain that the public corporation had priority over private "products"; in essense a monopoly.
The government also controls what technology or companies that can be bought by others (not a Canadian company or owed by a Canadian), alot of this has to do with patents and the US influence on Canada's economy and social connections.
After WW2 Canadians had a great future, companies were expanding and work could be found any where. Given that most of the people came from church background then, society had certain morals. Things have changed to now where people don't work for unions, and the prime motivator is money, companies don't give pensions but contribute to your RRSP, which really saves them alot of money.
Then somebody came out with an ideal that countries could run in the red (60s). An ideal that we are still trying to pay off past decades of expensives. And it was bad for a country to make a profit.

I would think an Canadian owned institute to investigate viruses and bacteria should be set up under the Canadian Government. It will cost Billions. Won't happen; the voters are too cheap.
Also in the news is the ideal that to pay for the Covid pandemic, is to cut he military budget... yup that will happen. But also other government services will be affected, budgets being reduced to pay for Covid...
So in the end who pays for it all, future generation of Canadians who will be slaves to paying off that debt....

I think a new plan for Canada should happen, because this Covid pandemic has exposed flaws to our society (old folks home and the vunerable in our Canadian society).
Total univeral health care - all drugs, all transportation (ambulances) , dentistry, etc.
Pensions-
But basicly a child would be able to choose things in school, without suffering from the money factor... ie summer camp, trainning camps for sports etc. but now only the rich people can afford to send their kids there...

Right now all the Covid relief shit, is for the banks. Mortgages, rent for slum lords etc. The rich are going to come out of this really in a good postition to buy up your overpriced house (with small interest rate).... when you cannot afford to pay the rent or mortgage.... so maybe the government could tax the banks more.

Every body wants to be rich, but more people are falling from the middle class to poor every year...

Really...that's it?

I'm disappointed
I was expecting a thoughtful and logical counterargument from you .
You seem intelligent, although not Intelligent enough to ever discipline me. Anyway, I think that you are confusing the amount of time it generally takes to complete stage 3 trials with the amount of money it generally takes to complete them. An unprecedented amount of money was spent on this

The CNN article cited is full of factual errors. It is an opinion piece, not news.
