Hi all,

just wondering if anyone has had an experience where you were at a massage parlour like Diamonds and the police showed up? How common is it? I feel like these places would get frequently targeted.

Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
Seriously, the cops tend to leave these places alone these days. With all the crap going on in the city they need to focus their attention of other places way more important. You are more likely to run into a City health inspector than the police.
As long as none of the ladies working in these establishments are under age or being trafficed/pimped, which they aren't, the cops could care less.

Cheers
J

I understand that if you visit Diamonds on Tuesdays you can avoid the cops. Tim Hortons now has a promotion called "Cops Free Coffees Tuesdays"

They will be too busy to bust you on Tuesdays from now on.

have not heard of a Police visit to any of the MP’s since the legislation changed a few years back.

I would assume that the laws & the police are there, but mainly if (hopefully not when) a crime occurs.
The SP or client could be the victim of an assault, robbery or whatever, and files an official police report about it.
With a certain SP allegedly to have committed multiple robberies of clients, by having her male friend burst in with a bat, that is 1 example. But, the client would have to admit to police that a crime has occured.

I mis-typed. This is a hobby which is against the law.
But, where are the police? They should know where the MP's are, and what occurs there. Some of the vice, and gangs & guns cops should have some knowledge of the local ladies in this profession.

Is receiving sex service legal or not in this province?
Under federal law, paying for sex (in all provinces and territories) is illegal. Period.

As Jethro Bodine said, in practice most law enforcement services turn a blind eye to activities going on behind closed doors in massage parlours and places like Diamonds and Executive Bath, as long as everyone is discreet and not causing problems.

I thought they got free coffee all the time? I’ve met some people through friends who are cops and mentioned that Tims gives them free coffee all the time

Those would be guys cruising the street trade not visiting MP's. Anyone stupid enough to do that deserves to get arrested. And the degenerates who pick up underage girls should be named/publically shamed.

But it's interesting that the police are using the current law to charge the assholes.

Street girls had their day. All of us enjoyed the Albert street days in the 80s and 90s. It’s a different world today. My buddy is a street girl addict. His time is limited so he likes to troll, grab, park, drop and roll service. I’ve put on thousands of miles trolling the streets 15-20 years ago. These days, maybe once a year. My friend has pretty amazing luck though. He’s a frequent flyer and likes youthful enthusiasm. Too risky for me these days.

Jethro is right. The police seized 7 cars along with the 8 dudes (#8 must have been riding his bike).

Police need to prove communication of some thing of value in return for sexual services. Could be a peanut butter cup for a non contact lap dance, but you still "Jizzed In Your Pants". However if you got the lap dance and gave the peanut butter cup to the dancer at a later date ( no clear connection), then that's harder to prosecute. So unless the SP/MA is working with the police, it's really hard to prove the "consideration" part of the law in the majority of transactions. But, rolling up on a SW who could be vice. That's just dumb.
