Source of LL Fake Ads

In my crusade against fake LL ads I made an amazing discovery: there's a solitary woman - based in Vancouver - who spams fake non-Asian (and some Asian) ads all over LL on an industrial scale, IMHO she dominates LL. scamming.

Hey guys, I'm glad I found this thread, I honestly thought I was going crazy, I started scrolling through it and recognized every single fake picture you guys have posted, I know the person doing this, I dated her for 2 years, she never worked, was VERY secretive about her phone and computer, was always on them, would turn her phone off and come home at 3am with no explanation, I had never met any of her friends, and whenever I'd tell her I was going to come out with her when she was going out with her girlfriends she'd have a panic attack and say they cancelled on her. Can confirm with pictures of us if you guys want to hear the story.

My thanks to TherealUDP for coming forward with this info. He told me more in confidence by DM: same painful surprise as coming home and finding your GF in bed with another guy, picture the opening scene of the first episode of The Orville. OUCH!

TherealUDP must have confronted her because fake non-Asian ads have suddenly dried up on LL Winnipeg. When UDP said he recognized every single photo I thought he was exaggerating, she would have to be a one-woman fake ads factory, but then the fake non-Asian ads went from a torrent to a trickle after his post!

She's been shook up.

UDP has retreated from Perb, poor guy is hurt and relieved to have an answer all at the same time. I hope he comes back cuz' I could learn so much more about her scamming patterns. In the meantime this she-devil scammer will likely continue to plague BC LL....I see her style of fake ad is still there.

And all this time I thought the scammer(s) would have to be Russian hackers working out of Siberia or something.

I am having trouble following you, but I'll try.

Pay-off: she receives a lot of e-transfers - as told to me by TherealUDP.

Speculation: Is she part of a fraud ring, are there other players? I am not big on this idea because the non-Asian fakes dropped off so much, suggests to me a "lone wolf" scenario.

Are you suggesting another advertising platform is trying to harm LL by hiring her to post fake ads? Interesting idea. Or did LL hire her to pad the ads section, forcing legit SPs to pay for a bump?

Note: I find LL to be unscrupulous. Best example: See my posts about Momoko, her LL "verified photos" and how LL handled my report to them about those ads (same set of pics verified by LL in simultaneous ads in Wpg and Van).

I am suspicious she is a Vancouver SP or ex-SP, that would explain her familiarity with LL and - as told to me by TherealUDP - her tendency to take trips across BC and Alberta from time-to-time. Anyone know of a Vancouver-based SP/ex-SP who occasionally does a grand tour of BC and Alberta?

It worked on me.
At one point I would have really liked to see an Asian. A dozen obvious fakes a day makes one very leery of trying any. Plus almost every review includes " not the woman in the pictures..."
Fake factor with Asian ads is too high for my risk management. There might be legit ones but I am not going to bother going through ten scammers to find one.

There are a few pimps/sw's in Wpg with similar lack of ethics. A couple of local women have said they see nothing wrong with making fake appointments with touring women. They see it as a way to defend their turf. I told one local it was wrong to do that and she got mad and said "They shouldn't be coming here, this is our turf". Hence why I see exactly one local, Riley, the only adult in the room.

Yeah, I hear you on that one, she would stay up to 3 am to work on this stuff - as told to me by TherealUDP. She has been quite an adversary and I kinda' miss her now. I continue to scan Wpg LL but find fewer fakes these days. The Asians are easy to root out - usually not much challenge there - mostly because they tend to re-use phone#s and we now have a comprehensive database of them on the Fake Ads thread.

I've started doing some posting on the "Ads with photos that are NOT, or may not, be the SP" thread (geez, guys, couldn't you have picked a better name for a thread?) for fun - see what I turn up and how it may tie in with her fake ads posted in other regions.

I bet that pisses her off.

Your point is well-taken, her margins are likely narrow, she's not living a lavish lifestyle. If fraud is her skillset - remember UDP said she never had a real job - where else besides LL could she make this type of fraud work?

Wpg LL is mostly legit right now, with a markedly-reduced set of ads. Looking over Van LL it looks like Wpg LL looked a month ago.
