So with the sun coming out and the people marching to the beat of going to the beach; that they are unstoppable, and wearing no masks.
There is a rise in most of the states that have let the public congregate in groups without protection from each other (eg. not wearing masks).

The American mentality is fucken stupid. Ok I'm fine I don't have Covid-19 and don't need to wear a mask. I don't need to socially distance. I'm young and healthy and won't get it. I have to go out and work. These people are so fucken uneducated. But then again most Americans have low fucken IQ's, otherwise they would be taking cautions (wearing mask in public etc)and getting tested.

The idea to isolate was that the people who really get sick would have a chance at being on an ventilator. These people out and about not protecting themselves, might not get sick; but they can be carriers of the Covid-19 virus, infecting more people and putting more strain on a allready strained health care system that lacks ventilators. These ventilators are needed to keep people alive long enough for the immune system to overcome the virus. If you don't have enough ventilators the death toll gets higher. You Fucken Morons......

Back in March 2020, the experts said it would be about 18 months to make a flu shot that will be effective against Covid-19. After that let mask restriction down etc. Obey businesses that want you to use a mask. Be kind to others and their sensibilities, wear a mask etc. Its not about individual rights when it comes to an outbreak of plaque, it comes down to your community and how it survives. For years the WHO and health officials were worried about an virus outbreak like the Influenza of 1919. They knew they were unprepared, no use crying wolf too loudly.... but now....wow.....it happened..... in 2019, the danger not told to world till March 2020.... where most countries decided to isolate.

So I can only gather that Americans in general are fucken stupid, fucken uneducated, and fucken Morons. All because they think they are world leaders... So far they are in the country with the most deaths due to the Covid-19 virus. Great fucken Leadership to show the rest of the world.

I hope this offends every American out there, cause its deals with the facts. Not half-truths and lies. Not one American is gonna boast that they were the #1 country, with the most amount of people dead from Covid-19.... Really its very, very sad. A first world country so Unprepared, it puts eggs on American faces.... And then certain people thought they could beat the virus by massing in public.... how wrong they were.....

For this June 2020 rise in Covid-19; my final words are this that AMERICANS ARE FUCKEN STUPID, UNEDUCATED MORONS!!!!!!!

I have to agree with you on the direction our American friends are taking, I travel through the Great Lake states once a week and the changes I’ve seen in the last 2 weeks are incredible. Two weeks ago every place I went into a mask was mandatory for entry, social distancing was strictly enforced.

The last rounder everything was back to “normal” Walmart was back to pack as many people in as you can, resorts in the Wisconsin Dells were packed, people everywhere were gathering in large crowds no masks being worn.

Strangely the only people taking it seriously are the CBP everything is done electronically, just a few basic questions, they touch nothing and your on your way.

I wish our American friends well but I don’t think it’s going to end well for you!

Until there is a flu vaccination shot and most people get it and after a short period (to let the shot be effective), then reopen everything. If the shot is not effective enough to keep people out of the hospital, again time and space are needed.
The thing is its the person who has no symptoms and is a carrier that is most cause for concern.

Gotta agree with you guys, and I’m American. It’s a friggin’ disaster over here. I wouldn‘t blame Canada if it keeps its borders closed to the U.S. for the foreseeable future. My sincere apologies for the idiocy that’s taking place here, this country has become a worldwide embarrassment.

The USA is going to have a hard time getting past COVID for one reason. Leadership (lack thereof). When your ruling political class (Republicans for now) completely disregards science, doesn't understand it, as they are too stupid. In fact, they applaud his utter stupidity and place the economy and re-election above protecting people, this is what you get. When Trump won't wear a mask why would anyone else? This is a guy who used to tweet and criticize Obama for playing golf during a crisis. He played twice this weekend. He's a piece of shit reality TV character, not a leader. Mitch McConnell is a corrupt, unrepentent shitbag, and the rest of the republicans who won't stand up to Trump are no better.

If it wasn't Chinese Communist Party's coverup, we wouldn't have dramatic numbers of death around the world and locking ourselves up.
Be that as it may, but it doesn't explain why the US (with roughly 5% of the World's population) has over 50% of the total cases (1.9m vs. 3.4m) and 25% of the deaths (129k vs. 512k). How could the richest country in the world be so derelict?

for profit health care ? perhaps with very little financial relief people put themselves at risk to pay their bills or are afraid to seek medical attention?

As too timid said: many people put off seeking medical attention until their condition is desperate.
Friends have told me many horrible stories.
1, a construction labourer who had a bad back. Can’t take time off because no worker’s comp or sick time. Finally goes to emergency and has herniated disc, needs back surgery and months off work.
2. Oncologist who sees people with lumps, who don’t do anything until they are huge and impossible to treat, or have metastasized.

Given that is the poor people who suffer the most, mostly due to health care cost in the US.
The mentality that I'm healthy and that is all I care about, not the fact you could be an asymptomatic carrier who can spread the disease without you knowing.
I don't need to wear a mask, I'm not sick. (sarcasm!!)
And Donald Trump did wear a mask lately.....maybe he caught it.....
