I'm far from a supporter. Very far.

But in all fairness, he probably didn't even come up with those ideas.

UV light as a treatment has been a thing for many, many years.

And when he said something about disinfectant, he was being more incoherent than normal. I think he was referring to injecting disinfectant to the room and not to the body. He said something about preventing the virus from getting in the lungs with disinfectant.

He was probably under the influence.

Yes UV therapy has been around for a long time, but in the form of tanning beds or sun lamps.
He clearly said trying to get UV light inside the body.
He also suggested getting disinfectant into the lungs.

It is almost impossible to know what exactly he means because of his incoherent babbling. He can’t express any complete thoughts or stay on topic for more than a few seconds. Sometimes I watch clips several times and can’t figure out what he means. He often contradicts himself over and over in one briefing.
There is an interesting study that says he has a vocabulary of only about 200 words.

OK in all fairness they editted out the beginning of the video. He was making reference to something else but you don't know what because it's been cut from the video.

Actually it's a democratic plot to win the election.

1) We know how the snake oil salesman Trump loves outlandish crap he gets from various 'sources'.
2) We all about his base (anti Vaxxers, non college educated, etc)

So a undercover democrat operative spouts some crap about UV and disinfectants to one of Trump's followers. Who then thinks, what a wowzer idea. So he tweets about it. Trump reads and now is spouting the crap. Some of his followers, do it and die. This is enough to turn the tide in the blue wall and Trump loses the election.
