Trump thinks everybody screws the US on trade deals. That’s the only thing he knows how to say. How can anybody support this sad excuse for a leader.

Trump is guaranteed to win. You are underestimating how stupid the general population in America is. Biden is a babbling lethargic senile reanimated corpse who will get eaten alive.
Heard different from someone who used to spend a lot of time in the US. Biden will pick someone as his running mate who is quite popular.

He's already said he is picking a woman and if its Kamala Harris as I suspect, as she checks the woman of colour box, she aint that popular. Lizzo might be a better choice.

Unless she's Oprah. Biden has zero chance. Trump is a marketing genius and used this crisis to his advantage. His daily press briefings are basically campaign speeches. His approval rating is at an all time high.

Just proves how stupid and ignorant the general public is. He will win by a landslide as the DNC shot themselves in the foot as all the Bernie supporters will not vote for Biden just like they did not vote for Hillary.

Just shows how deep the corruption is within the DNC to back Biden. They had 4 years to find someone charismatic and the best they could come up with is Biden?!

Maybe his approval rating is "at an all time high" - I actually don't know if it is or not. But 45% (albeit could be "an all time high") is not something most people/politicians probably want to brag about;)

The roasts on Comedy Central will have nothing on these debates. The verbal beatdown that Trump will give on Sleepy Joe will be the equivalent of Mike Tyson in his prime fighting a blind and deaf 4 year old quadriplegic.

If you're a Trump fan or neutral to politics, just comedy gold. If you're a Trump hater, oh man, just the most tragic thing you'll witness. Like seeing someone slowly torture kittens.

Serious question. Why Biden? The Democrats had 4 years to come up with anyone with some charisma and even a pulse and the best was Biden?

John A. MacDonald once said "Give me better wood and I will make you a better cabinet." Democrats can only select a presidential candidate from the people that actually put themselves into the race to become the Democratic nominee. If someone (i.e. a "better" someone) is not in the race, they cannot be selected as the nominee. There very well could be a "better person" for the job - but you can never give someone a job they do not want. Tim Cook might be an excellent CEO for (I don't know) let's say Google. Maybe Google would want Tim Cook as their CEO. It's all pointless if Tim Cook doesn't want to be the CEO of Google.

For those that are unfamiliar with Tim Cook, he's also/sometimes referred to as Tim Apple;)

Did you hear his interview today? He kept referring to the "herd thing" when he clearly meant "herd immunity". He makes these kinds of mistakes/blunders daily and yet Biden makes a couple of mistakes and the Trump lovers act like Biden is ready to be sent to a rest home. WTF!

Another example of how full of dog shit Trump is:

https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/coronavirus-trump-fauci-1.5530731

From the above article:

"Trump's claim that he could force governors to reopen their states represents a dramatic shift in tone. For weeks now, Trump has argued that states, not the federal government, should lead the response to the crisis. And he has refused to publicly pressure states to enact stay-at-home restrictions, citing his belief in local control of government."

So to sum up, when businesses were being shut down, he put that onto the individual states to do (and take the blame), but as soon as he decides that the measurres put in place for the safety of American society should be rolled back, he wants to take the credit and make it seem that he is the guy in charge. It would be funny if it were not so sad.

Like today's supposed Covid press conference. What a fucking joke as it was nothing more than a
sad attempt at a campaign rally with a video he put on. Then an outright attack of the media
who pisses him off every time they challenge him on what he has said.

Uh, excuse me!! It's written into the constitution that the media has the right to challenge the president
at whatever he says so that he can be held accountable. Trump doesn't seem to realize this yet.
God only knows why.

This conference today IMO was the worst Shit show any Narcissistic idiot could have ever performed
in the line of duty. Proving it was all about him!!!! WTF?!?!?!

And all the while the citizens of the US were sitting at home watching and waiting to see how
he was going to further handle this Covid epidemic and what they were to possibly look forward
to next or maybe given a glimmer of hope or tell them they are going to have to hunker down
until we have a better handle on this thing.

Nope............not on your life with this arrogant, ignorant self serving dickhead who mocks
democracy at every turn by claiming he is king and acting like a monarch.

I feel sad for the people of the great USA. He hasn't made them great again,
They used to be great and he's fucked up the entire show.
Sad, sad indeed. I can't imagine what another 4 years of this admin would be like.
This one has been the twilight zone in SPADES!!!!!!

What's sad is roughly 1/3rd of America is staunchly supportive regardless of what he says/does...there has to be something that I'm missing. What is so blatantly obvious to me is clearly not for them. I don't know how many times I've asked this, but what's the allure? Is it possible that this is just pay-back for the Obama Administration? Are they blind/deaf or just unwilling to see/hear? I've begged for some kernel, (anything really) of wisdom that would depict his ability to lead/inspire vs. divide/hate. So again I repeat, 'what has he done to improve the lives of Americans and our standing with the rest of The World?

The 2016 election should teach you that apparently there is a large chunk of the US population that believes that they have sat silent while another segment of the US population continually told them to "grin and bear it, this is good for you." It's really that simple. I'm not saying their "feelings" are right or wrong, but it really doesn't matter if they truly "feel" that way. Now you get a POTUS that literally gives zero pucks - that attitude mirrors what a good chunk of Americans are actually feeling. Take the 52 year old coal miner that lost his job, hearing media saying thing likes "learn to code" - that would make me resent the "elites" in Silicon Valley as well - think about it! Kick your dog enough times, they won't stay loyal to you for very long. In fact, they just might turn into mistrusting/being aggressive to all humans. The 2016 election should've taught you that "you're not in Kansas anymore!" Going "back to the well" to try and combat this new division in US politics - it just demonstrates that "the other side" still didn't get the memo. The one good thing that came out of 2016, perhaps US politicians will now take vote efficiency alot more seriously. In Canada we always talk about (and politicians always consider) vote efficiency. Americans (mainly the left) whining about popular vote still don't get it - it truly amazes me. Constantly whining about Hillary getting 5 million more votes in California than Trump - so what! That just demonstrates that 4,999,999 votes in California had exactly zero impact in the last election. Hillary needed a million more votes in Florida, Michigan, etc. Let's see if the Dems figured that one out.

Now to answer your question, the current POTUS doesn't have to do one damn thing to "improve the lives of Americans and our standing with the rest of The World" so long as there is still enough Americans who feel like an abused dog. There's an election coming, we'll soon find out if Biden can win the trust of the proverbial abused dogs!

Ahhh,, now i get it. It's the............it's all about ME crowd that votes for trump and what the USA is about?
My how times have changed. When it used to be the USA cared what the world thought of them
and it generally speaking kept them in high regard with most freedom loving countries.

IE, on the base of the statue of Liberty, The shining beacon to what freedom is all about.

"Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore".

It's unfortunate that the voting public in the USA have forgotten that OR allowed their govt to have created
the problems for them to feel like abused dogs. In reality their leadership truly has failed them as a voting
public if they feel like abused dogs. Very interesting point you make appleomac. I liked it.

Would that help answer your question Golferjohn?
