No way to do it but it would have been interesting to see how many cases worldwide people got COVID from sex with escorts. 1000? 100? 10? 1? 0?

Stay safe.

I am sure pooning is safe as long as you practice Safe Sex. That is where a hazmat suit with a gas mask.

How many SP's have those with their box of condoms?

And I am sure they are spraying down the whole apartment with sanitizer between each appointment.

Exactly. I was in Edmonton a week ago, walked into Secret Spa on Whyte, picked a hot Caucasian and gave her a good pounding. No kissing (obviously), no massage, no cuddling, just a nice CBJ and standing doggy. Good non-intimate fun and I loved it. That spa is still open as we speak.
Be intimate without the intimacy. I like it!

I have to admit I was pooning as usually up until a little over a week ago and then I decided it was not worth it. I have to admit with all the restaurants closed and a lot of hotels and now almost every business I know shutting down for two weeks (except for things like food stores and drug stores) it does seem strange to see pooning continuing. I am especially surprised that LeoList has not shut down the escort area. I am even more surprised the government has not shut them down.

I hate to sound like a reformed smoker but it does seem to go against what almost everyone else is doing.

Also there may be a large backlash against prostitution if after this is over if the public starts to believe that prostitution behavior had a impact on spread of the virus. I used to think prostitution was well on its way to becoming accepted then the US clamped down hard on websites related to Escorts and now it is like going back to the 70's and 80's and it is becoming harder to find providers.

Don't think it cannot happen here all you need is to give the Religious Right a weapon to use to push their agenda!
I seriously doubt that. And I hope not.

In my opinion I’m more at risk of contracting Covid-19 from an elevator button or a shopping cart handle than I am while getting paid to paddle a man on the ass during a session.

Since all my classes got moved online a few weeks ago I’ve spent the majority of my time at home. If I go outside to get exercise, I do it in solitude just like I have been doing for many years. My social life lately has consisted of chatting with Goldhunter while he was in a completely different hemisphere.

Aside from doing an occasional session involving low risk activities, I’ve been doing pretty well overall with this social distancing thing.

I guess one could set up a glory hole just inside your regular incall suite, which would cut down on contact points, use a condom for everything, and would be very easy to clean since it is contained to a small area. Any lady carpenters out there?

To be fair, there are 2m long paddles.

And just because it's less likely, doesn't make it any less purposeful, seeing sex workers is unnecessary/non-essential.

I am aware that breathing in close proximity of another person is a risk factor

But to be realistic, we all can’t reduce our risks 100%. If I was to enter the civilian workforce, most civilians jobs I am presently qualified for would put me at more risk because I’d have a much higher number of contacts with other humans

I have personally backed away from seeing sp's for the time being but I would be way more comfortable spending time with a known regular sp than I would brushing up against someone at Walmart. Most women in the business take very good care of themselves and take their health seriously.

I’m also understanding of those who are still working in full service sex work. What I worry about is predatory men trying to take advantage of them with bargain basement offers and pressures to do unsafe services the SPs aren’t comfortable with.

And I don’t think that the fact an SP is currently working necessarily means she’s in a desperate situation. Many of us think ahead and want to keep earning and saving for now so we don’t find ourselves in a truly desperate situation in the future.

A glory hole while wearing 2 condoms and hermetic seal. After each client a sexy sanitizer hoses it down in a see-thru hazmat suit. COVID-18+ done right.

The day I shut down (17th) I had someone make an inquiry. I gave them my normal copy and paste of rates and services and they responded with "Its Covid right now, I'll give you $20 for a hour, times are tough". Didn't have to think about what I was going to do after that.

Pot meet kettle!

There are now reports of young people as in under 40 needing ventilators. And COVID is so easy to catch compared to the chances of getting anything from "unsafe services". At least with those services, a) they are way more fun and b) it's the devil you know. And that devil is now neutered with Prep. Just seems mighty hypocritical.

I for one am abstaining now as needing a ventilator sounds way worse than any disease that a dose of antibiotics could take care of.

The list of "essential" services in Ontario is a mile and half long. Shut down is a misleading term for what's going on in Ontario.
just another sign of the incompetence of our "leaders"

they might as well have listed those that have to close, it would have been shorter

WHO, says 3ft distance

our idiots 6ft

they also say you can leave the house, if you stay 6ft away

others say self isolation means 24/7

we had 1 million people come back last week due to the Sock Model's siren's call to return home

how many have it?, how many were tested? lol virtually none

this is a shit show, little wonder why no one is listening to their advice

the curve needed to be planked back in late January/early Feb at the latest, with testing/tracking of travelers, border crossings, forced quarantine if needed

then border/flight closures as needed

instead we got told to go to Chinatown and quit being racist

we'll be paying for it for decades now

cause everyone has their hand out

leolist is the least of the issues

Vietnam is doing/did a better job than our idiots did/have

how many people are walking around spreading it cause they don't have symptoms

WHO guy, remember couple weeks ago

TEST,TEST,TEST

not us, no, lets spend Billions on our cratered economy

try and get a test, even if you're actually mildly sick, lol

maybe if your name is Turdeau

I find that a little troubling, someone being in a desperate position doing something both parties know they don’t want to do but feel like they have to is more fun for who? I am not seeing anyone (outside of my civie job) and wish everyone was able to isolate, I do agree with you there. But taking advantage of desperation being “more fun” just does not sound right.

I am aware that younger people are getting sick and requiring ventilators. I am constantly keeping an eye on both the news and the research data that comes out on Covid-19. I am making an informed and thoughtful decision to continue to work at this present time.

In regards to PrEP.. I can’t go into much detail here, the powers that be are nice enough to open up health discussion of Covid-19. But to put the topic of PrEP into a nutshell...it really isn't a magical wonder drug that some people seem to think it is (brutal side effects + hiv is known as being “the ultimate evolver”) There's plenty of information and research articles accessible by a simple google search for anyone who wants to learn more.

I personally wouldn't touch PrEP with a 10 foot pole. If I am to engage in any sort of activities that would call for PrEP, I would just keep those sorts of adventures strictly in my personal life and with one partner only.

But we're all adults here capable of assessing our own risks and making our own decisions. Do whatever floats your boat.

I don't really follow about how being honest and candid about the steps I've taken to make an informed choice to continue working at the present time and admitting I know I'm still taking somewhat of a risk by breathing in the same room as my clients as being “mighty hypocritical”

It’s all about $$ and life style for Sp.!, for use is urge for satisfaction! Maybe I could be wrong?
I don’t think it’s a one size fits all situation, nobody that knows me would guess I have any kind of money based on my life style or belongings. Before school costs I was on fetlife looking for exactly what I am doing now without the $, even considered sex addicts anonymous as an option (that I will likely think about again when I retire and almost regretting not following up on now that I am cut off).

From the clients prospective I have seen urge for satisfaction, however I have also seen people just seeking companionship. I think a lot of people would be shocked to find how many gentlemen (and couples) are just looking for a non judgemental temporary friend to help feel an emotional connect.

However you view Covid 19 or this lifestyle you are in, there is risk. Covid 19 can kill you in 3 weeks, or give you a battle for your life like no other, or simply pass you over this time...(it, mutated or another more brutal virus will be back and you may not be so lucky if it did pass you over this time) As far as the lifestyle you are in, I'm not sure if death is part of the equation....
