Majority of them want the regime gone but Canada seems sympathetic to that regime. In the past few years many hated government officials feeling the heat have found a cozy backup hiding place in Canada for themselves or their children as just run of the mill immigrants because they bring embezzled or bribery money. Canada needs to vet better and stay true to Canadian values instead of selling out for dollars.

you mean Trudeau is sympathetic, the Liberals under him

the man has no ethics, character

he couldn't even say that Iran was responsible for shooting down a commercial airliner

when asked point blank, he basically tried to insinuate that they'd all still be alive if it wasn't for the U.S.

like Ukraine is responsible for MH 17, Russia was solely responsible, as is Iran here, period, full stop

interesting article in the Sun about his brother, "his adviser" who did a little "film project", about Iran

another similarity, huh?

the sooner we get rid of this clown, our clown, the better, time to limit the damage

hopefully around the same time anyone, anyone replaces the orange clown down south, anyone

He stated the obvious: the plane got shot down because it flew into an area where Iran's forces were expecting to be attacked by US aircraft, into a near-war situation which began when Trump assassinated General Solemani. Counterattack with ballistic missiles just happened. Counter-retaliation expected. Air defenses on a hair trigger. War imminent. And then some unexpected random aircraft just blunders into their gunsights... BOOM.

Obviously an Iranian anti-aircraft battery shot it down, but there's there is just no disputing or dismissing this context for what happened. The context matters, because otherwise it wouldn't have happened at all.

Of course, foes of Iran and foes of Trudeau (generally the same people) want to imply Trudeau has been out of line with what he said and somehow taking sides with Iran. He wasn't actually saying anything controversial, except among those who want it to be controversial.

If Trudeau was in his infamous Aladdin outfit when he said it, then you'd have something to gripe about. I guess we can all be thankful it was in storage or something.
