being "well groomed"

Hello everyone, perhaps there's something I'm missing, but what does everyone think "well groomed" means when seeing those words in a SP's ad? Well groomed as in: showered, clean shave/trimmed beard, shaved/trimmed down under?
To me, seeing that means don't show up looking like Chewbacca. I do shave my chest/back/shoulders/*down there* to be safe, though. Would any SPs like to share/clarify their version of what this means to them? I'd love to know.

I have something to say about everything today so I may as well respond (as an ex-escort) I still expect my clients to be clean but I'm getting a bit more detailed in this post...

Freshly showered. its a good idea to use a cloth with the soap and scrub every inch of your body
if you're uncircumcised make sure you clean well under the skin... common sense, I know, but if you're excited on the way to the visit precum drippings can build up under the skin
best to take the shower upon arrival when offered even if you had one just before your trip over
Clean clothes (unless you arrive directly from your jobsite, professionals will be understanding, you need to work to pay her, right?!)
clean underwear, clean socks. no holes.
dental hygiene, brush, floss, up to date on dental checkups and cleanings
trimmed fingernails and toe nails
up to date on sti checks ...especially if you're giving and recieving unprotected oral, or whatever.
good idea to keep the pubic hair trimmed if you are a bj enthusiast, getting poked in the eye or a hair stuck in the throat isn't pleasant.

I like body hair on men, so just trimming works for down south. Keeping your nails short, clean and filed, along with scrubbing your ass wel,l goes over well for me. Don't show up smelling like you rolled out of a dumpster, but dont wear too much cologne either, or after shave because I have very sensitive skin, and can have a bad reaction, if you pile it on.

Yes, it certainly seems like YMMV type thing. I've heard both ends of the spectrum from SPs commenting about facial and body hair grooming. Whenever it's a new SP I'll shave down there to be safe. One I used to see commented she didn't mind so long as I was at least trimmed down under... but maybe that's partially because at that point I'd seen her many times already. About showering, I guess it wasn't obvious to everyone to take the offered shower =\

I don't wear scents, and use scentless anti antiperspirant.. but that's mostly because strong scents bother me, and I also have sensitive skin... So I know we're you're coming from, Lady Via.

While this is true, I think the most important point Lady V made was about the cloth and soap and scrubbing. Apparently, many of us believe that just letting the shower water and ( on a good day ) shampoo residue are enough to get us clean. I witnessed first hand how rarely facecloths went into the laundry and the mens bodywash never needed to be restocked when I was down and out and actually stayed with an SP for awhile. Even though I scrub thoroughly prior to a visit, I am fully aware that whilst travelling to the incall with butt cheeks and balls all squished together under a few layers of fabbric, I WILL SWEAT!

And I'm no scientist , but I'd bet my pooning budget that I am likely secreting some funky pheremones in anticipation of what is about to take place as well.

this is exactly what I meant...... I jump into the shower right before someone comes.. Within 10-15 minutes before you arrive, to make sure I smell ok, as Im a big sweater. Huge !! Some men dont really scrub down there, or they short change themselves some times rushing to head out the door. Taking the few extra minutes goes a long way.
