One of my favorites actors of all times.. I Always watch the skepches that he did at the Carol Burnett show on YouTube. . Love the one he did as a dentist with Harvey Korman as his patient.. He was a legend. RIP.

Actually he was navy reserve......in civilian life he was running a yacht club.

He was welcomed at the pearly gates by his best cohort Don Knots.Those two made up one of the epic comedy duos in entertainment history.....right up there with Pryor/Wilder and Abbott/Costello.

One of the funniest movies I saw as a kid was The Private Eyes with Don Knots and Tim Conway....wicked movie to say the least.
