I think it’s a fair question to ask, especially if discretion or feelings of safety are on the line but I also feel like there are ways to go about asking it:
“Tell me a bit about yourself...”
“Please note that I do not see men of x y z descent for discretionary purposes.”
And honestly if a dude has a problem with it, just move on. Lying to the lady only wastes her time and potentially means a crappier session for you (assuming she goes through with it) if she’s not at ease. She’s not obligated to see you so deception is just plain foolishness.
I’m half white half brown and was born here but have been told I look middle eastern. If I see an ad mentioning the above, I avoid it. If I’m really not sure, I always send a fully transparent text asking. Saves both of us the time and prevents me from looking like a liar.
