crap halftime. lead singer is Justin Timberlake wannabe.
and somewhat lukewarm commercials but enjoyed the
T-Mobile spots. clever use of texting interface.
also noticed another song from Queen was featured (Don't Stop Me Now)
in the amazon spot with Harrison Ford. Queen has gained popularity
these days. TELUS have been using We Will Rock You
in their latest campaign and apple used Flash in their campaign as well.
I'm sure somewhere, an ad exec is thinking of ways to use You're My Best Friend.

The game was boring, boring, boring. ... By halftime, a total of 3 points had been scored. One field goal in 30 minutes.
It was a continuous 1, 2, 3, punt. 1, 2, 3, punt. 1, 2, 3, punt - and on and on.
At the end of the third quarter, the score was tied at 3 to 3. (Sounds more like a hockey score).
In the fourth quarter, finally a touch down. The one and only touch down in the whole game.
The biggest single televised sporting event in the world. What a farce. And advertisers spending millions and millions.

Yes I can say CGI. Computer Generated Imagery, but not in this case. Drones in 2017 for the first time with Lady Gaga show and again yesterday. Pre-progammed for flight patterns.

By comparison, Maroon5 was straight garbage and dude can't sing live worth shit. And wtf is up with him losing his shirt towards the end? Did he need social media validation for all his tats and time he spent in the gym?
Yes, the game was a snoozer but it's nice to see in this day and age, some actual chess match style defense for a change.
Highlight of the night was definitely the NFL 100 commercial.
