There is a lot more to weed than just THC and CBD. It contains close to 500 ingredients, all which have effects. We have 84 different cannabinoid receptors on our brain for a reason ;-) Only 3 are psychoactive. THC being the most well known.
You could take 20 different products with identical amounts of THC and CBD and have very different responses to each.
Smoking, vaping and eating all produce very different effects. Each strain and how it is grown will effect the overall results, but how you consume it will dictate how much of the terpenes you get. They are released or eliminated at different temperatures.
Terepenes play a major role in differentiating the effects of different strains. They range from assisting with stress relief and relaxation (which is what most people are looking for) to the opposite end of the spectrum - in amping up energy and allowing for huge increases in clarity and focus.
If you do extractions yourself you can play around with what works best for you.
If you don't extract, you can consume foods which also contain those terepenes and it will massively enhance those effects in the weed. Each one has a very different effect (there are even ones that are appetite suppressants)
Lemon, Mango, coffee and tumeric are the most common foods people use for a boost in effect, but there are many others.
It can be used for recreation, but in my opinion, it is beyond any pharmecuidals out there if you really take the time to learn and understand it.
Thanks Angel, for some great Insight on Cannabis, and It's wealth of positive effects !
And also for being the first SP, brave enough not to worry about tarnishing their Image, by commenting on a Topic that apparently is still somehow considered Taboo ?
Kudos, for your Courage !
You're definitely a classy Angel !
