I for one.. or is it another one, will throw my hat in the ring to have a meet up with others in Victoria, Nanaimo.. or anywhere in between.
REALLY GOOD IDEA...
REALLY GOOD IDEA...
I haven't found anything 'normal' about this entire SP/Hobbyist exchange (but who wants normal?) I, for one, would find it deliciously weird/abnormal/uncomfortable/awkward/etc. to buy you your favorite beverage and pick your brainJust asking, would it normal for an ex-SP/now-hobbyist to partake in such particular "meet-ups/hang-outs/talks/all that jazz"? Or would it be considered as weird, abnormal, uncomfortable, etc etc ??
here is a PERB dump of one of the threads after a PA meeting. When you read it, you will notice some posts refer to non existing posts. I bet this dump was created some time after the event
Here is the trip down memory line.... or some fun reading for new guys. The date is 2004 ... the place... happy PERB

It was Tanpopo...one level up from street level.I remember.... it was a place on Denman ( now it is a Brazilian restaurant ). It was a fun evening. .... and yes, Bobby had a fantastic set of boobs and was not shy to show them in public.
If some of the lovely perb folk decide to take the community off screen and go out for sushi, beer or play some pokeher (honest typo I swear) I am all inI remember one where we went for sushi, I met Vancouverman, Little Asian Guy, Sushiman, others, quite a few SP's showed up as well, most I think are retired now. BobbinVan ended up flashing her tits at the restaurant, I think I still have the picture, it was a fun night. I have gone to a few smaller ones but that one was probably the most fun.
Sounds like a good time...If some of the lovely perb folk decide to take the community off screen and go out for sushi, beer or play some pokeher (honest typo I swear) I am all inAlways love to hear and share some good stories.

( darn... the crap I have in my archive files LOL )
Yep, as I said previously, I needed to make a clean break, so that was the best way. Had it removed a while ago and, well.... here I am :wave:Funny thing about that "dump".... there is BANNED under your name ..... I need to find medal that was given to all banned members at that time.....
One of these days I might be talked into coming back out to a meet or whatevs, just not today, and not likely tomorrow, either...also, under my name it now shows Jan 2005 .... LOL... I joined just before Kev had a short lived stint as a moderator..... I think it was in 1999 or was it already after 2000????? ... fcuk.. I feel old.... LOL
( and yes.... what happen to my record of 12000+ posts here? )
I got couple messages mention another PA meeting..... I really do not know current guys and only limited number of current ladies. Maybe I should not be a "master organizer" this time. But hell .... PA#11 - 15 years later.
I still am in touch with Squirrel, Sushiman and L2L from the old guard. Maybe they will join. But of course, we will welcome young crowd as well..... after all, somebody has to push our wheelchairs.
