just wanted to know everyones take on this,

lets say you make a little bit more than mininum wage, would it be wise to stop this hobby all together ?? or is it okay if you treat yourself once or twice a year ?? (For Your Sanity's Sake)

Probably only way you could enjoy it regularly at or a bit above minimum wage is if you lived with your parents and paid virtually nothing for food and a roof over your head... and maybe relied on public transit as opposed to having a vehicle with insurance, gas, repairs etc. factored in. Cost of living/accommodations is high in the Okanagan, so I can only imagine how tough it is in the Lower Mainland to be able to afford many "luxuries" with limited resources.

Go for a well reviewed lady for a shorter time rather than garage sale special or SW for longer duration.

not that i hold my hat to that or anything , but i definitely paid my dues on here as far as credibility goes, but i admit i was doing something more stable back then so taking risk wasn't a big gamble..

I usually seek out SPs within walking distance of wherever I am in the city, but on those occasions when I decide to see a more distant lady I take the train or bus. When making arrangements to see someone, I sometimes ask the SP which is the closest train station or bus route.

With average rates that would be close to one week's pay every time you see a provider. Is it worth it? That is up to the person. Once or twice a year probably no big deal if you learn to cut back in other areas. However with limited financial resources you really have to ask yourself if there are better ways you could enjoy yourself.
Pooning on a budget? Here in Winnipeg it is definitely an option. No idea about where you live.

Agree with Elsi, you would be surprised how many come by public transit and I am not very transit accessible. Many times I have givent the route, Canada Line to Richmond center, then 30 min bus ride to nearest intersection to me and then a 2 min walk. Its a 8 min cab ride from Richmond center and about $12 but many will save it with 30 min on the bus. I like to have a cool drink waiting when they have gone through that much trouble to come and see me and give them some time to unwind from their travels.

Guests arriving on bicycles is also a common occurrence. Sometimes their only means of transportation and sometimes because they are just out doing their weekly physical activity they enjoy.

Reasons are mixed. Cheap, frugal, prefer to spend the money on important things, just used to using public transport their entire life. I don't discriminate lol. I do appreciate when someone goes through that amount of effort to make a visit

my advice make sure you have your finical situation taken care off first and foremost.

don't even bother, to you have a goal and a plan to get there, and you have accomplished it,
this hobby is fucking expensive, and that is all it is,

Taking public transit in a city with gong show traffic like Vancouver makes a lot sense. Stress isn't good for performance nor erections.
