Leo list - how to spot the fake accounts?

Use Google Chrome, right click on a pic and you get the option to search Google for that image. Google then tells you all the places that image appears. If they appear in places they shouldnt or on generic social media accounts, you know the photo was lifted.

If that image appears nowhere else on google (search every pic) then you are likely seeing unique pictures not sourced from the net. I've done this to someone with 5 or 6 pics, and one of them will come up as a instagram model or Las Vegas SP. Boom done. Unless they can back up that they are from LV, or aformentioned Instagram model.. What are the chances of the later though... lol...

That was quite subtle Elsi, quoting the creepy uncle's post out of the two.
That was the sum total of all my subtle points for the next three weeks, so I'm glad you noticed my effort. ;)

More seriously, the LL fakes don't just hurt the pooners, it also makes my job harder: ads slide off the front page faster and new clients are wary of the ads they're looking at, especially if they aren't familiar with the directory (which could be laid out better) and cross-referencing with reviews.

And yes, hello Abbott_. :)

I also note many ads now with no phone number... just a gmail. I find this is the "gotta go to this website and hand over your CC# to prove your over 19." scam

What is the thinking behind posting these blatant fake ads? If you show up and the girl isn't anything like the ad what do they expect guys to do but to walk and be considerably pissed of for having their time wasted.

I'm flabbergasted by the nonsense explanations I read here as to how to recognize the real ladies/ads from the fake ones. Although this topic has been covered MANY times, in MANY threads, on MANY boards, there are still people who need to understand how to know if an ad or a lady is real? Seriously... So, once again, as I like to behave like a teacher who gives lessons - it excites me - here are some points posted in a previous post that I'd like to debunk, one by one. My comments are in red. Take notes students. Go:

Here are some of my red flags in no specific order (some have already been mentioned above):

- The most obvious one - they don't have reviews or positive reviews here on Perb.

Ah ah! Some ladies refuse to be reviewed and ask their clients not to post reviews. They also check on boards if reviews of them have been posted, and can ask Mods to remove these reviews. And to play this game fair, both the positive and negative reviews have to be removed. Also, there are clients who are not on boards so they don't post reviews, some who are on boards but don't want to post reviews. And another point: it's not because a lady has no review or a bad review that she's fake or bad. Sometimes, a bad review is related to something that happened during the encounter that might not be the lady's responsability. If a lady has several bad reviews, then yes, this is a red flag.

- They advertise "party friendly".

Although I'm not "party friendly" at all, some ladies are, and some clients are. To each their own. Pass on these ones.

- They do outcall only. It can be awkward to send them away if they don't look like their pics when they arrive. Suggest meeting at a public place near you first if you have any doubts.

Really? You jump to short conclusions so easily and give odd explanations that I wonder how your brain works... Anyway: some ladies like to do outcalls only because they don't have a place for an incall, they don't rent one, they don't share one, they don't want to host in their private place. Also, if they host from their home, there might be some repairs going on, some family or friends visiting, so offering outcall is the only possibility for them. And some do outcalls because this is only what they offer.

- They really promote their 2 hour or longer dates. If you do shell out for multiple hours, they will likely find a reason to eject you from their incall or leave early in the case of an outcall long before the multiple hours have expired. You will notice that none of the well reviewed ladies on this site do this. They will usually provide multiple hour service, but you have to ask for it, they don't try to push you on it, especially for the first date.

Ah la la la la Je me demande parfois... OK, back to English: some ladies promote and only offer longer appointments. Not everybody likes offering half-hours. Often, upscale ladies promote longer appointments - but don't make of this a general rule! - it's just a lady's choice, that's all. And again, don't link it to reviews. Gee...

- They say they are here only for a few days or only a few more days. I have come to recognize this to be a red flag in itself, but if you think about it, why risk seeing a girl that you may never be able to see again even if it does work out. If you toftt with a girl that is living in the lower mainland you can be rewarded by seeing her many more times if it does work out.

Uh... what about the touring ladies? What about the ladies who just offer their services a few days in a month, even if they are local? Think, please, think.

- Their pictures makse them look like an instagram model. Likely too good to be true unless they have local reviews to back up the pics.

So, because a woman is gorgeous, she looks suspicious? In this industry? Read yourself again before publishing, please. There are indeed absolutely drop-dead gorgeous ladies who are real. How do you know if they are real? Read my advice at the end.

- In some of their pics they reveal their face while in other they do not. Why reveal their face in some pics and not in others? This really makes no sense unless the face pic is fake or their face would look much less attractive if visible in the other pics.

Have you ever tried to take flattering pictures of yourself in lingerie? Hmm... I guess not. It's very difficult, it takes hours to have the right light, frame, outfit, posture, good setting etc... It takes hours and a lot of pictures to have a few great ones. I know it because I take my pictures myself, and had a professional photo shoot done once only. All ladies don't necessarily have the money nor the desire to pay for several photo shoots in a year, so they have to do it themselves, or to ask a friend. And sometimes, yes, the face is not that great, but it doesn't mean that she's ugly! And sometimes we feel like showing our face. For example, sometimes I do, sometimes I don't, it depends on the level of nudity too. Do I want to show my face or not? Funny, when we post blurred pictures, some guys text us and ask us to send them pictures of our face. Go figure...

- I notice lately a lot of very good looking ladies advertising as being latino or part latino. So far all of the reviews of these ladies has been negative. I did a toftt of a latino lady known as Denisse/Denis/Latina etc who has been here in Van for perhaps almost a year now. Her digits currently end in 7697 . She has ad ad on LL even as I write this post. She had very nice pics and video and some of the pics were even verified. Maybe the pics were of her younger sister or whatever, but she did not look nearly as young or attractive in person. I will not take a chance on a latino lady again unless she is well reviewed by a respected member of this board.

Wow. Let's not target any specific group. I believe it's called racism.

You will likely see ads where some of the pics make the lady look attractive and in other pics less so. If you decide to to see the lady, expect her to look like her most unattractive pic and not the most attractive pic. From my experience it usually work out that way. Some of us guys are naturally optimistic, but in this hobby it is far better to be pessimistic and to be pleasantly surprised than the other way around.

You're definitely a pessimistic. But here it's not your pessimism that tells you wrong. My clients always tell me that I'm beautiful when they arrive, and better than my pictures. So, again, here is what each of you need to do before booking with a lady:

- Does she have profiles on boards (with reviews or not)
and/or
- Does she have a website?
and/or
- Does she have accounts on social media like Twitter? Then follow them and read her interaction with posters

Cross all the information you gather from these sources, and you should be fine. Then contact the lady, and if after the contact you feel comfortable, book. If something turns you off, then don't book.

Is that really hard to understand and to do? No.

Not trying to be a hater but my competitor angel eyes entertainment uses fake pics it’s so obvious too ... I don’t get how people can’t tell? That’s why they won’t advertise here cause they know they would be called on it instantly. It hurts everyone’s business when people use fake pics because it sets the industry standards to a false expectation.

As a general rule of thumb, these can be giveaways..

- using IG photos/selfies
- advertising as 'party girl'
- extremely brief description

I added my verified photos when I signed up for LL because I feel it can give viewers at least a peace of mind that I'm the real deal :strawberry:

Do a google search on the photos. If she appears anywhere else its fake.
The hottest photos are fake and if she looks like a suicide girl or instagram babe its fake
Its hard earned money guys.
Dont think with your dicks and do some research.
I get off on the hunt too...

Happy pooning

Speaking of Leo list. My credit card company has informed me of leo trying to charge ridiculous prices for my ads. I am so angry. I will not be advertising with them anymore. They keep trying to imply I am a new customer to which they charge almost 100$. I am not a new customer. I pay for whoever chooses to work for my company. Rip off !

Leolist has a "verified" feature that allows you to send in 5 pictures of yourself in varied position holding a sign that says "LeoList.cc". Once your photos are verified you get a check mark next to your picture.

Look for girls with the verified check mark.
Does anyone knows if a faker can get verified by LeoList by using "LeoList papers" pictures from another escort? Has this ever been noticed/reported? What's the verification criteria of LeoList to make sure this doesn't happen?

Not sure if it has happened, I have had my pics stolen and used by another sp but they weren't verified on her ad but I suspect it could happen. There are thousands of verified accounts on LL, I know they do vet each picture but I expect it would be possible to get by them. That's one reason why I always include names in the LL signs, not foolproof but helps I think.

The other day I saw a fake ad using stolen pics with "Leolist papers" and description but different phone number. The real one of course had the LL verified check mark next to her name.

I have seen fake ads using stolen pictures.
The thief steals a picture with the "verified" checkmark. Or they steal a picture of a lady holding a LL sign.
This wouldn't keep happening if guys would show some backbone and walk away when they see she is a liar and thief.
Women and pimps who do this make it hard for everyone.

Anyone can hold a piece of paper that says "Leolist" but only Leolist can give you the "verified check mark" next to your name.

I also have seen fakers use those "LL" papers but their ads didn't have the "checkmark". It is very confusing to inexperienced Gents that don't understand the verification system and how fakers can play with a "flawed" system. I also think a faker will eventually get their ads "checkmarked" by using stolen "LL" paper pictures. Unless LL actually have a strict screening process, which is really what I'm after right now. I would like someone that KNOWS how the LL verification screening system works when you get your pix verified to get the "checkmark"

I agree that the "LL" written on the paper is NOT sufficient. I think it's just a marketing strategy by LL to get more publicity and establish power in the escort advertisement industry in Canada. What really needs to be on that paper is the phone number, since fakers cannot use/steal that paper-picture because they won't have the same number. The date, city, name, etc... they can say it's theirs, but the phone number they can't. Now I've seen fakers photoshopping their own number over the number on the paper in the picture. That's why I think the ULTIMATE verification system is to have your phone number written on a paper and have it shown in a VIDEO. A faker will not be able to photoshop its number on that paper in the video. Imagine if 50% of ads would have a video-number-on-paper proof in their ads and the other 50% would not... how easy would it be to spot the fakers? Who would benefit from that? Gents not getting B&S and Legit providers getting more booking (less to the fakers)?

The other day I saw a fake ad using stolen pics with "Leolist papers" and description but different phone number. The real one of course had the LL verified check mark next to her name.
I've seen too many of those as well. Fakers don't care because they do get Gents that book them, regardless of how fake they look/are! All fakers need to is have Gents show up at the door. 80% of them will not leave regardless of how different the escort is from her pictures.

I have seen fake ads using stolen pictures.

Women and pimps who do this make it hard for everyone.
That's why I not only think the "LL" verification system is flawed, but it's actually worse... it enables fakers to run their B&S operations and trick innocent inexperienced Gents at booking them. Because we all know they don't have the balls to leave or report the fakers on the forums.

Anyone can hold a piece of paper that says "Leolist" but only Leolist can give you the "verified check mark" next to your name.

Okay, what you stated is 100% accurate, but it wasn't my question. The question is:

Can a faker steal pictures of a legit escorts holding a paper that says "LL" on it and get her/his ad verified with the "checkmark" by tricking the LL verification system?

I think I answered that one in my post.

The leolist verification system is far from bullet proof and I know scammers could probably get by it if they wanted but I think its the best you have to choose from ATM. Eros had more stringent screening process but most girls are now uncomfortable providing government ID and passport to advertise on a site that is being operated arguably by homeland security while collecting information.

Leolist watermark in pic gives you little confirmation other than a stolen pic from a verified provider on leolist. A verified ad with the verified check mark means someone would have had to go through a lot more process to fake the ad.

Its not 100% but really, what are your other options?

I never thought about that. I guess you could. I mean for them to recognize every photo that goes through there is impossible.
