I notice that a few SPs will post an ad then take it down within hours or the next day. I assume this means that they have limited availability or are low-volume providers. What is the etiquette about contacting an SP who doesn't currently have an ad running? Assuming you are not a regular, then perhaps the rules are different... but in the case of an SP you would like to prebook with, is it OK to contact them or should you wait until their ad is "live"?

Live is usually the best way to go, especially if you want to see them that day. Some girls belong to an agency, some are independent, but just bump their ads now and then. If you get a phone number, I would say sending one polite text is probably ok. They may not respond immediately, but usually they will get back to you.
In my experience, if the ad is up(doesn’t have to be live), an sp/booker will answer calls or txts. Like GB said, If it isn’t up, they will likely return your call or txt, but at their convenience and then it’s possible it becomes telephone tag. ..and it’s not a two way street if your trying to become a client, and you could be branded a time waster. A popular sp gets a lot of calls, and if it’s someone your very interested in, you may need to be patient.

Thanks... the girl I am interested looks to be an independent, not an agency girl, otherwise I would try to liaise with the booker. She's had some good reviews here and I confirmed via PM with another member that she is legit... but she has only posted 2-3 times in the last few weeks, each time the ad was up for a few hours (Murphy's Law, not a convenient time for me to make a booking). I saved her phone #, so my dilemma is whether to contact her and suggest a prebooking, without risking getting on her bad side (she might have a "real" job or other commitments if she's not a fulltime SP)... or just be patient and wait for when her ad is up again and it fits with my schedule? Apart from this SP, I've noticed several others with "ephemeral" ads, some might be scammers, but if they are legit I'm guessing it's because they have limited availability and may not want to devote time during their "off hours" to corresponding with potential clients. Jeez, pooning is like regular dating sometimes!!!
Hearing more about the circumstances, I agree with GB’s advice. Send her a text! If you introduce yourself and explain your situation like you did above, let her know your your availability, and ask about prebooking, it can’t hurt your odds

Just as a suggestions if she is part time and doesn't respond to you right away I suggest putting in your text that its ok to text you back at anytime. Most of us won't respond if we are a hour or more after the initial message unless we already know its ok to respond later.Hearing more about the circumstances, I agree with GB’s advice. It may not be that she is ignoring you but because of life, work or other reasons she can't respond right away and doesn't want to cause any problems for you by answering at a later time.
I suggest this for anyone trying to contact a lady and not getting a response right away if you are able to, may increase your luck of arranging a meeting. "Hello ****. I would really like to set up a meeting with you. You can text me back at any time" or "weekdays from 9 am to 4 pm"
