I was wondeting if anyone has done the giftcard option and recieved their credits. Im hearing its days to get your credits...hoping thats not true!

Using the Starbucks gift card option it has never taken more than two hours for me. I used to mail them a money order, then it would take days.
If you use the visa gift cards it takes like ten minutes, but you have to get certain ones...

I did use that option over a wk ago. It needed to be a vanilla, that worked. Now that option has been diwn for 3 days!.
I think i will stick it out as some places the ads are not aval with some seizure notice. I would hate to waste another bunch of money...if it is really down!.

I just did it two days ago and it was all working this morning but it is down again... I wonder wtf
My guess is leolist.cc since their servers are in a presumably safe place like Perb.
I'd also add it's a good time to set up a protonmail email account which is SP preferred with end to end encryption with servers in Switzerland.
Of course LL seems like the obvious choice to those of us in the "greater Vancouver" area but it's not as obvious for advertisers and their clientele in many other markets in the country. johnsmit's home base is Victoria if I remember correctly and I don't know if LL ever really gained the same notoriety there as an advertising venue as it did here. Their 411 section always seemed to feature more queries about BP ads than LL advertisers from my limited research. Other geographical areas in the country seem to be similar. I guess we'll see if this becomes a boon for LL now around the country or if new advertising venues start popping up to pick up the slack like when CL shut down their erotic sections all those years ago...leolist
I am noticing a lot of Canadian SP have also made the switch from Gmail or Outlook etc to Proton. We all know via the Edward Snowden affair that the US Govt does look at Microsoft, Google, etc etc emails.
It also makes sense for clients to go Proton too. That way it is end to end encryption for the client and the SW.
I set it up this weekend. Fast, easy, has an APP and there is a free version too.
Over just a few days, I noticed a LOT more women advertising on LL for the island. I remember plenty of chatter over fake LL ads in Vancouver area; previously, most LL ads on the island seemed pretty legit, but I fear those days may be over... (no proof, just the spidey senses from looking at many of the ads/pictures).
That can be a concern. A nice way to ruin a decent board, eh? Many many ladies on twitter now are hitting the Leo list route as well. Ladies all over the world too!! Leo list is now on twitter and like mad..... retweeting other posters who mention " Leolist " as well as their own posts. It's making ground in twitter land.
Too bad Perb couldn't reach out to the world and make it's presence in a big way. Perb isn't on twitter to retweet.

As I understand it, anyone can easily hide their online identity from you and the local police using any one of many different services. It seems the only difference with Proton Mail is that it should prevent high level as well as low level government surveillance. A client can then surrender their identity to you and local police by providing a phone number or driver's licence number, information that requires cooperation between you and the police to access.
In my case, I used my name for my Proton Mail handle and would provide my phone number before a visit, both explicitly and by virtue of call display. I have no problem with this because I choose to trust and respect anyone I visit.
