HI there,

Anyone having a problem using a credit card on Backpage today. Usually, I can keep going in and out of my account and it will say Fund Account and it will have a choice for credit card, Today, it keep going back to buying the Bitcoin and I refuse to do that. The last time I bought Bitcoin I used $25. Canadian and at the end of buying it I only received $7.14 US ..

I think there is a market in a new form of Backpage in Canada . Lots of money to be made.

Anybody else having a problem today.

Definitely need something to replace Backpage. There is EC, but for some reason few providers use it.

go to http://www.adpost24.com, log in with your BP account. You can ad credit card credits and they will be on your BP account

Not sure how the advertising on the internet conforms to Canadian law? Does it apply to the internet public spaces. Does that include Leolist, backpage, craigslist etc. Do you need a age verified site?

Maybe some day a group of SPs and other sex workers will get together and set up a coop web site run by and for sex workers. No car ads. No bullshit disclaimers. Low cost with advertiser rebates at the end of the year.

There may have been some charges laid against agency owners who posted ads for underage workers but the legislation is highly questionable. So much so that Georgia Straight, Now Magazine and many web sites have continued to carry ads without any hint of challenge. The London Ontario agency case is challenging the legislation at present.

As long as the person providing the services has control of the content, placement and response to the ad it is profoundly unlikely that the web site could be convicted. The web site is a publisher, not an advertiser. Is my local newspaper advertising cars or massage services?

1. Click on Menu
2. Select Buy Credits
3. Fund your account with a Gift Card
4. Under retailer choose "Starbucks International"
5. Enter the gift card number and PIN on the back of the card
6. Wait for it to be verified by Backpage. Usually a couple of hours.
