Escorts put up with a lot of crap, and definitely deserve the money they earn. That said, I wonder how many carefully manage their money and how many just blow through it with nothing to show. A quick look at an example would pull numbers like this:

Rate per hour $250 x 3 clients per day $750 per day
treat it like a job x 5 days per week $3,750 per week
lets take a nice 6 weeks vacation per
year. Leaves us with x 46 weeks $172,500 (after taxes, assuming not claiming income)

$72,500 per year leaves just over $6,000 a month for living and expenses with $100,000 per year for investment.

$100,000 per year for investment with a realistic, moderate return yields approximately $1,000,000 after 6 years! Close to $2 mil after 10 years.

I think these are very conservative numbers.

This comes often. Never ends well.
Same pattern: some guys who think they knows all about escorting makes a bunch of assumptions.
Let's see how it goes this time.

You are not considering expenses.

Really? I gave $6,000 plus per month for living and expenses. Most people have less than half of that. Also, I think I went on the conservative side for number of clients, rate of return, etc...
I think I will stick by those numbers.

i dont understand the fascination with how much sex workers make and how they spend/invest their money lol it is irrelevant to clients/civilians and these are not questions or things you would wonder about anyone else who has a job.

truth is because you see so many escorts after 10, even 20 years struggling to get by and think WTF? Also, I constantly see guys complaining about an SP's incall location, housekeeping, etc... If she is making professional rates I expect professional service all around; including how she dresses, and how she keeps her housing.

some people (and not just sex workers) are just poor with money mgmt... but if you’re concerned with rates/professionalism, i guess that’s what review boards are for— do your research, find someone well-reviewed + within your price range, and you won’t be disappointed.

You know nothing, Johnny Depth.

I'll give you even more lucrative career, a plumber. He can charge $100/hr and work 8 hours a day, that makes $800 a day, etc. You can continue your ridiculous logic to come with a more impressive number than you got for an escort.

Felix, please think before you speak. So Felix, what are the numbers for an escort? Clearly you are missing some big points on the plumber. Have your morning coffee and get back to me when you have something sensible to add.

People almost never make more money and maintain a conservative lifestyle (general statement). The more money the average person makes the more they spend. More money may mean less modest living accommodations, more expensive clothes and cars, and an overall standard of living. Also, I think the business related expenses are probably a bit higher than you estimated. An independent SP has to maintain a lease (whether alone or shared) for their in-call location, which is usually separate from their personal living spaces. Good marketing photos are expensive. Many place daily ads on half a dozen sites, which carry posting costs and costs to bump up above others. When you add stuff like this to all of the other intangibles (i.e., in-call/out-call supplies, special amenities, etc.), this occupation requires a lot of start-up and maintenance costs.

This silly question has been beaten to death on here many, many times...:deadhorse:...:deadhorse:....:deadhorse:

It's none of our business how much a SP earns, or how she spends her money. We would just like for them to give us good service, nice attitude, charm and a fair rate.

Why don't you, OP, tell us how much you make and how you spend it. Then we can all have a good laugh, because your answer will be as truthful as President Clinton when he said:
"I never had sex with that woman".

Very well thought out respone. Thank you

I don't think it is a silly question.
None of our business? I don't know. Go on a hockey forum and people are talking about Toews money or McDavid money. This is a forum, we discuss things.
I come from a relatively lower middle class background (back when middle class was still a thing). I had to learn to make do: for that reason I have never been a big spender and don't buy into the brand name trends. I do have a few vices like Scotch, Wine, and Music but nothing that breaks the bank. For these reasons (and I like to think hard work) I have more money than I need these days. I suppose I could blow through it on extravagant things, but I'm an introvert so showing off socially has no value to me.

Don't forget "spa days"; I once treated a lady friend to a mani/pedi,facial and massage and it was over 500$. Add in hairdressers, gym memberships etc. And have you ever purchased lingerie for a woman? One bra can cost more than my yearly clothing expenditures!

We should also address the elephant in the room. A percentage of SPs (depending on your specific location/demographic) may engage in more than recreational substance abuse. If that's the case, all bets are off. You can never have enough money at that point.

We have a winner! It's hard to hide an elephant that size.
Honestly, I don't care what a provider makes. The truth is, it can be a great way to make a living. I stand by the numbers I posted above. The only ones that should take offence are 1) Johns that are thinking "Crap that is way more than I make" or providers that are thinking "That can't be right? What am I doing wrong?".

Yeah, I guess we both feel the same.
NOT like the Original Poster, who writes about money earned and spent by SP's, including number of visits a day, rate per visit, total visits a week, total visits a year, deduction 6 weeks for vacation, and money invested per year.
Oh wait, ---- you ARE the Original Poster. --------------- So, what should we believe?? Your post #1, or your post #16??

Don't believe they contradict each other. Never mentioned anything in the first post about my concerns about what Providers make. If I did, please show me, maybe I misspoke.

Yowza!

Perhaps I should return to escorting. I’d love that sort of income. Just wish I had enough time to see 3 clients a day 5 days a week. Actually... with that sort of income, who needs school?!
Thank you. I would love to hear from SP's what they think are realistic numbers. As I stated, I believe I'm being conservative.

School is good for many reasons and I believe you know that.
