I’m hoping someone can help me with a question that i’ve had on my mind.
Simply put, do sp’s like it when their client brings a gift or does it creep them out?
I’m new at this so any feedback would be appreciated.

Who doesn't like gifts? Don't go overboard though. I would say that it would be very appropriate for a GFE session. A nice bottle of wine, premium chocolates, gift cards, etc. Don't expect those things to be used in lieu of compensation. That's just the icing on the cake. A kind heart and a gentlemanly attitude might increase your mileage considerably with little addition investment.

I am sure they like gifts (as long as they are tasteful), personally I have brought coffee to $1500 Loubs, whatever makes them (and you) feel good...

Don't stop at the liquor store and buy whatever the clerk recommends.
Don't buy a bunch of flowers exactly like every other bunch of flowers she gets.
If you buy a gift, put some thought and effort into it. Listen to her if she tells you about a hobby or a clothing line that she likes.
She will appreciate something you bought just for her and her alone.

Cash is king as are pre loaded Visa cards, gift cards per their website, Belgian chocolates (although it is very popular. I was re-gifted a box once :D. ) One that seemed really appreciated was my pulled pork sandwich with all the trimmings. 15 hours on the smoker ;)

I guess making it yourself was better than buying something off the shelf.

Bingo!

Ladies get lots of flowers, chocolates, wine, mostly impersonal and generic.

Regardless of price, it is the personal effort and thought that counts.

Bringing a bottle of wine to share is nice . I always ask if the lady would like me bring a bottle just in case she doesn't drink. Some ladies remember if you repeat may tell you she will bring the wine since you did last time. Of course if you visit them a 3rd you make sure you bring one.
They same visit the sp shared some candy she just bought so the next visit I made sure to return the favor.
Also I've done a lunch date where we cooked together and I brought a couple of new aprons for us to use and gave it to her.
Some ladies will appreciate the little gesture.

I'd think there'd have to be a certain amount of trust if it's homemade food. I know someone who made a cake once. She said "thank you" and threw it away when he left.
After I had seen her over 150 times? Sure Pal. I am gonna do that. Whatever.

Yeah I figured you were well-acquainted before doing that. My comment was more for the benefit of the OP... i.e. not maybe the best idea for someone new.

TBH, I would never show up with something like a home cooked meal for someone I hardly knew ahead of time. That would be creepy.

Sorry, I should have prefaced it first. :D

I once visited a woman whose web site listed gifts that she liked. Chocolates were on the list. I showed up with a box of chocolates. Her response to the gift was to say that she had been getting too many boxes of chocolates.

It turned out to be a good visit, despite the unenthusiastic reception of my little gift.

... sadly these days you have to worry about being drugged etc so yes food items are better for the well aqainted :)
When I'm with an SP I'm meeting for the first time, or at an AMP I'm unfamiliar with, I have a moment of hesitation before I'll even drink anything from the ritual glass of water that they usually offer. Part of that is a residual worry about drugging, and part is just plain old concern about cleanliness.

I have always found that a bottle of wine or box of chocolates carefully chosen is a good idea.

I have met quite a few non-drinkers in this industry lately. I've ended up bringing the wine home again.
