Did you know that it has just been 10 years since the I phone first came out any started the whole smart phone craze.
June 9 2007.

The I phone and I tablet is What made Apple a 700 billion dollar company it is to day .
In 2007 the shares were around $90 and they is went up to over $700 split in 7 and now are at $150 again.

There were smart phones long before the iPhone. I was working for Nokia when the iPhone first launched. Nokia had phones that played music, took pictures, sent and received email and texts, played games, made phone calls, etc. years before the launch of the first iPhone. What iPhone had was a better user interface which is why it took off. But do NOT say that the iPhone was the beginning of the "smart phone". It's just not true.

I remember choosing the N95 over the iPhone, Symbian was a hassle to use and honestly can say that other than the galaxy S5 it has been my least favourite phone I’ve ever owned. Have had a 3GS 4 4s 6s 5s and now have an 8+, I may be a sheep but I’m not switching away from iPhone again

Made be I should of clarified that by saying it was the first touch screen smart phone which everyone followed after. All though they all had touch screen phone in the works and prob were about to launch them soon all so.
Apple was just the first one out .

I personally never had an apple I like and Android based ones like Samsungs

Actually Johnsmit, both Samsung and LG had touch screen smart phones released before the first Apple iPhone. What really made the iPhone work was a great number of active apple developers making apps and the fact that the app store made it so convenient to add capabilities to the phone. The deal breaker for other phones at the time however was the integration with iTunes so that you could get music easily on your phone without paying extra (if you already had an iPod) and the device because multi-purpose.

Thanks I definetky realized they must of had them indevrliment for the other guys to come out with them so quickly, but never notices them before.

Honestly when the iPhone first came out .I would keep think that will be my next phone ..but the price was a turn off . Instead I got a full screen phone with a pull out key pad ,I though that was great and still would like to have one just because it was easyer to type on.
But ended up with a touch screen when it was basically 0 to get and after all every one had one lol
