Hi. I've seen some ads on BP that say Winnipeg South and some say downtown. Can you tell me how far south is from downtown? My hotel is downtown but is it worth taking an uber or cab south?

From downtown, you won't pay more than 20 bucks in cabfare anywhere in the south end of town. I don't know where you're from, but winnipeg isn't that big. Downtown to the south perimeter is only a 20 minute drive in off peak hours. Rush hour is probably an hour due to construction on pembina.

BP. My hotel is downtown. Just wanted to know if I should bother with ads that do t say downtown

Winnipeg is a terrible market for SP's. BP makes it look like a Pooner's mecca, but that is far from the truth. Weed out the fake ads, drug users, gang members, those that will rob and beat you, etc... I would guess you are left with maybe 10 to 15 locals and some touring ladies. That said, look for someone that will do an incall to your hotel if possible. If you are venturing out find someone well reviewed here or other places whether they are local or touring. Also post your queries about specific women here; lots of guys willing to help.

We do not have uber here Winnipeg is a much smaller city Than Toronto we do have taxi service

doubt you will be using our city bus service but just in case please be aware that unlike most city's Winnipeg
bus service routes will stop running at certain times meaning no buses for four hours or more after the last bus has left the stop for the day .

This is what all the cab drivers used to use before gps.
they have all sections of the city marked out for you north south etc.


Also I don't know how long you will be staying but If you decide you want to purchase a bottle of wine or anything else please be aware that liquor Marts and other store's will close at exactly 6 pm on Sundays.

As Winnipeg has a Sunday closing law that does not let certain retailers stay open .
