Yeah in yesterday's session they interviewed one of the agency owners. She claimed over 6,000 unique users! (Did I hear that right?) The clip also referenced PERB, LOL. Wonder (hope?) that we'll see a spike in members here that can contribute feedback on their experiences...

I echo that....Maybe they will get more customers out of the News reports....... but my spiddy senses are telling me to stay away so curious/self-righteous persons doesn't have a hand-cam on an entrance. I can see the black hoodies and sunglasses market is about to get a boost in sales.

Roxy's story makes me sad. I think she is cute. Hopefully she can quit her addiction and maybe land a job in one of the agencies. Much safer than out there on the street.

I would encourage CCE to participate. It's never gonna get any better unless all the stakeholders have voiced their concerns. I can tell the piece is a little narrow in terms of scope. Probably because they are only able to source views from limited channels. I am sure there are ways to participate without divulge any private information. I was disappointed that there was nothing I don't already know other than the street walker part of the story but then it really ain't any news that there are sex workers on the street and life on the street is hard. The number of street workers did shock me a bit as it seems high. I can barely spot one when I drive by every morning and afternoon. Don't know where they get that number. Wish they would have surveyed the users of the escort service as well to get a more rounded picture.

Victoria is already a small city where "people are in your business", according to a Montreal SP I once saw at Class Choice by the name of Teagan. This news report won't help. I personally never encountered anyone in my business in the five months I lived in the city, specifically with this diversion...at the time. Agencies are everything in Victoria, as the reliable Indy market is limited indeed. In Edmonton and Vancouver you have many MP's that offer no frills full service (the way I'm used to it) with advertised addresses and legitimate store fronts - that to go along with the multitude of legitimate Indies. A good number of these MP's have mainly Caucasians (my favourite). I would go in and out of Tokyo Massage near Metrotown without a care in the world.

Do you know any MP in Vancouver that has non-Asian girls? I had some difficulty finding one there. At least here in Victoria there's more variety compared to Vancouver if you aren't much into Asian girls

I know a few at the top of my head that have mainly Caucasians, such as Great Pharaoh on Kingsway in Vancouver, Atlantis in Richmond and Tokyo Massage in Burnaby (equal selection of both). I discovered GP on a recent trip back to Van - nice rooms, curvy ladies. But I was also referring to Edmonton where I have some family and visit sometimes. There are many MP's there, a lot of them with Caucasian providers.
