Time to take notice Vancouver

Have any of you taken notice of ALL the missing young gay men in Vancouver? Not just missing but some have been found murdered.A family member of mine her friend was found dead he was only 20 years old! He was a homosexual and it seems that most of these men are young 20s homosexual. Some have been found dead! We have a serial killer. It's highly probable that these cases are all linked to One serial killer. It's rare to have one active serial killer but to have two with the same victimology being active at the same time unheard of ...you have better odds buying a lotto ticket and winning.Why haven't you taken notice?

I didn't write this to argue I wrote this to make people aware... and it's a quick check of their social media friends they happen to be homosexual. Nothing more to it than that other than somebody's killing young man who happened to be gay.

I assume you're directing this at me Ashley? I ask these questions because I did substantial research on missing people in the past. Missing people has always been my focus. And I'm very aware how mainstream media "misses" things like this because it's not newsworthy.

I'm pretty sure it was directed at me. The original post has nothing factual in it with the exception of a victims name. Not even the age was correct. . Then her "proof" says nothing about gay men disappearing or being murdered. Posts like this are one of the reasons the media DOES suppress news. People can start mass hysteria or even worse produce "copycat killers" when there wasn't a new serial killer to begin with!

The Whistler thing I did not know that I was actually just given that information from my friend. But there is a spike in missing man I've lived downtown for so many years I've never seen so many posters I may have been wrong in saying that they are all gay but some definitely were. I mean usually serial killers are Men so I have to say that this person likes men because that's who he's choosing ...the person who's killing likes men... so I'm guessing and knowingthst Oliver was gay… If the perpetrator likes boys and men well some maybe straight and some will be gay ...please don't pick on the gay part just know that a lot of people are talking about it and a lot of posters are around the city there are missing and murdered boys. You may think that murder is something that happens daily but it doesn't in this city and the fact that it's boys makes you go hmmm and to have a group of boys or number of boys go missing / dead who are all kind of similar is alarming even if it's only three. In every other city there would already be a alarm bell rung

To find out if there is a serial killer you need to build a baseline using historical statistics of murders of young gay men in this region. You come up with a baseline and look for an extended spike.

@Ava. The media would report on the murders but may not make an assumption that it's a serial killer at work. Serial killers thrive off being in the spotlight. They have big egos and want recognition for their kills. It's always speculation. For example, I believe there is a sex worker serial killer in Edmonton.

Oh there is a serial sexworker killer in Edmonton 100%. When I lived and worked there they actually the police came into the studios to talk to us about it

In March 2016 or so, I took a leisure drive up North from Hope, through Lytton and L'illoet.

I didn't like the drive, because of all of the curves on the road, and slow pace.

It seems like I went through a lot of Reservation areas on that drive.

I came back over the top, down through Whistler, and back to Vancouver.

When I heard "Lytton" in one of these tragic stories, that rang a bell with me.

Living up North in the area your talking about, I do know that over the past 15 years or so, there have been many people that have vanished in the Lytton, Boston Bar area.
Sometimes they find their vehicle, sometimes they don't......There is the rivers and mountains that can swallow a traveller....but there have been so very many that know that country that have never been seen again.
In the middle of the night I pulled over in one of those gravel areas next to the Highway, only to wake up to four creepy dudes staring into my window from their Res pick up....and they'd already been there awhile before I had woke up.
When I flipped them the finger as they were only 10 feet away, they sat there long enough for me to load my little friend behind the seat.......you know in case I have to put down a deer ,or injured cow I'm hauling.
I stepped out of the truck and the passenger saw what I was hiding behind my leg......they fucked off like I'd scalded them.
My instincts were on high alert......it was actually one of the creepiest things I'd ever experienced....and I've been in some serious conflicts as some of you know.
There have been way to many people vanishing in that area to not notice a pattern.

The gofundme page says he was last seen at 7\11 at 1:46 am then goes on to say he was at home with family from 2:33am -3:01 am and that his jeep was found in the river 15 mns later at 3:16 am .They are asking for 5000$ in donations to fund a search for him... Sounds a little fishy to me The average mortgage on those condos is over 3000 and they can't afford to print off posters?
