I'm sure its a decent experience to play in the Olympics but lets face it, nothing comes close to playing and winning for the Stanley cup

I agree, that is the feeling of North American players.I think for many of the European players the Olympics rates higher.

I am planning to fly to Korea in February 2018 to see the Olympic games, mostly hockey games. If NHL players don't participate in this game, I can assume the tickets to the game might be much cheaper
