I agree with manrock. Just simple courtesy.
But then again I get pissed off when I let somebody merge in front of me in traffic and I don't get a "thank you wave."

I dont think a thread is necessary because someone didnt reply with a Thank you to a personal message lol
Courtesy counts. It's not that much to ask that someone takes the time to thank someone else for some valuable information.
Some day you may want some private details or sideline information too. You may even start a thread hoping to get feed back.
On a anonymous review board about escorts you guys are crying about someone not say thanks. You guys are weird lol
if i ask someone directly for a favour, info , ride home from the bar or whatever i say thank you. if you pm me directly to answer a specific question that only i can give you take the two seconds to say thanks.
. You answer a question and someone doesn't say thanks you have to make a post crying about it? I've given plenty of answers to pms without a thank you message in reply . Ive also gotten answers from people where I didnt reply with thanks.

If you either don't agree with the subject of a thread or the fact someone actually started a thread so what?
You don't have to read it and certainly don't have to comment on it.
If a thread is deemed inappropraite or unnecessary there are the moderators to determine that. Not the other members.

Ok, one time for all to read and understand. This is not kindergarten. Name calling and threats about meeting outside by the bike racks show the maturity and intelligence of grade schoolers. Perb is for adults only. Both instigators here got an infraction, the thread is closed. Learn from this, or the mods will be forced to take stronger action, and we honestly do not want to do that.
