Yaya this is Perb and we're all supposed to be horny and wanting sex and drugs. I know plenty of SPs probably binge Netflix on their down time and it's probably where they get their personalities from, so this would probably encourage their participation, hopefully.

So Iron Fist just came out. I've always been a huge nerd, and a huge fan of the comic book related movies and other media, heck looked into a bit of comics myself. Kinda disappointed that IF is getting hugely slammed by critics, when all the other Marvel Netflix shows were heavily praised. Wonder if it's still worth the watch...

A review in the metro said its not up to par with daredevil or jessica jones, but still enjoyablrle. There are two hottie female ass kicker sidekicks, and lots of action the article said.

I am currently watching Supergirl season 1, its very enjoyable because I am a big DC fan and there is a lot of fanservice

I gave it a shot and turned it off at the 40 min mark I think. If you want kick ass kung fu, Into the Badlands is back this Sunday.

Well seeing the price is right, why not watch it? I'm not a comic book guy but I ended up watching Jessica Jones & later Luke Cage. If you weren't told it's Marvel stuff you'd never have any idea.

My hacker buddies keep telling me I should watch "Black Mirror" as it's on Netflix and apparently a pretty good show. I've just not found the time to get to watching it as I don't get much time to binge watch anything. Speaking of Luke Cage there John, perhaps you could model yourself around him? The Asian Luke Cage. Get buffed as fuck, shave your head and get the bad ass look going on. Start with using the number 2 button when peeing in a low flush toilet and go from there. Myself and Miss Hunter will take you to a surplus store, outfit you in "Desert Storm military gear" and you can go impress Payton.

Or, you could dress up like that and go to comic con and you'd probably find lots of hot chicks willing to fuck you. I'm not expert on women but the word I see to hear is that "geeky guys" are actually all the rage. No washboard abs needed.

I am sure "geeky guys" are all the rage if you're Vin Diesel playing DnD, not if you're like Fat Neil from Community.

That said, maybe I CAN drown in comic con pussy if I wanted to. The problem is getting them to leave =O

Sadly, it'd be quite a while before my physique will impress Peyton =(

Not what I understand. Modern young women like "geeks". Look at the success of Comic Con. Women LOVE that geek shit and love dressing the part. And they like the geeky boys who take part in that ecosystem. It's not about anything "Vin Diesel" either. It's only a matter of putting yourself in that world. And as for physique, I don't think that matters. No one excepts you to be The Rock. I mean girls like the "dad bod" right?

Recommend watching Luke Cage and Jessica Jones over Iron Fist....the actors and storyline are better. Mahershala Ali as Cottonmouth is one of the best, if not short lived villans.

Let a picture speak a thousand words--->

The response to this thread unfortunately doesn't seem to be keeping these assertions afloat. Just dropping by to say, lightheartedly,
-SP downtime-Netflix behaviour is probably not so different from that of a larger population cohort, e.g. people in their 20's, people who watch TV in their spare time.
-The proposed phenomenon of SPs acquiring their personalities from media consumed is an intriguing and delightful one, but SPs, like other people, are much more likely to chose their media based on alignment with their extant personalities. It would be fantastic for anybody to be able to direct and improve their personality based on recreational TV habits.
-I get bored with superhero offerings and am not a useful commenter on those, but have a recommendation for those who like more serious drama/crime: Hotel Beau Séjour is a new, fascinating Belgian addition to the Canadian Netflix roster.

If it wasn't for Rosario Dawson they'd never tie all series together....think of Iron Fist as the first Thor movie....a tie in/build up to the Defenders crossover

Ya unfortunately they killed the good villain.

I already did binge Daredevil and Luke Cage. Unfortunately I only got through about half of Jessica Jones before it got stale for me, and only did watch about half of Daredevil season 2...

And yes Cottonmouth was great. I was so shocked what they did to his character...

Agreed. He plays a great part. Love the references to Harlem & Biggie

I watched "Black Mirror". It's a real out there show but it references pop culture and what we are as a society. I did 2 episodes. I'm not sure what I think yet. Episode 2 was a little easier to swallow than Ep 1.
