WCA without references?

Hey guys!

I recently posted asking your advice on who to go to as a first timer. I looked through all the awesome feedback and decided on WCA. I called them today and they said I need some sort of reference, otherwise I can't even book with them....

Is this normal? If so how come? And is there a way for me to book if I don't have a reference from a previous SP? I honestly don't wanna blow a couple hundred bucks just so I can book with WCA..

Any ideas on what I should do?

You can call them and ask them if they can screen you a different way since you are a newbie. One way of screening is giving them your real first name and your workplace. They will call the workplace and ask for you, then they hang up once they confirm you work there. That is just one way though.

Or you can just a well reviewed independent first, its not like pulling teeth they are good too.

scroll up to the providers ads forum section here on perb and pick one of those girls... tell them your perb handle and you will probably find a great girl for your first time and then she will probably be also willing to give you a reference for the next.

It's just like booking with an Indy. All they want is someone to vouch that you are an ok guy to visit their ladies.

Seen a reputable Indy? Maybe you can get a referral ?
