Looking at the BC Hydro outage map right now, half of KoreanSPTown, known as Highgate/Burnaby South/Metrotown, has lost power! That's quite a profit lost in one afternoon for the various groups operating there from cancelled sessions.

Huge parts of Fleetwood Surrey are affected as well, most likely affecting a few Surrey incalls.

ouch! Don't they have generators inside apartment buildings for things like elevators?

I don't want to jinx anything, but I didn't really notice the storm this time, just the wind a bit, the warnings from multiple people was worse than the actual storm itself, of course no power outage, but I'll kick myself if it does happen though since its my birthday weekend and I do not want it to be ruined :love_heart:

I was looking at the map. The outage missed pretty much all the shops as the damage was done south of Kingsway. It even just missed the new condos north/east of Metrotown. Given how dark the rooms always are it wouldn't be much of a difference to use candles anyway...
