There is a Syphilis outbreak in the province. Although the news will mention that it mostly affects MSM, it has infiltrated hobbyist and our ladies too. Since clients see multiple girls from multiple agencies, and girls see multiple clients, we can say that you are at risk to have been exposed no matter which agency or girl you prefer. Hence I won't mention agency or girl by name. I also don't think one agency may have higher moral standard than another.

Anyways, I recently went to see one of my regulars, and she took my room fee, but also took a reduced fee as she said she couldn't provide me FS, only a massage and HJ. She hadn't finished her treatment for syphilis, and didn't want to pass it to me. She was still required by her agency to come to work. During the massage we chatted, and she told me that she got checked because another one of her regulars told her he got syphilis from another girl at her establishment.

Now I got checked and thankfully I'm clean. I also don't partake on BBBJ, which I know the girls in question do provide. Not sure if that's the practice that's the culprit. DATY can transmit it too.

Anyways, this is perhaps a reminder that everyone should get checked regularly.

Thanks for the info. I do occasionally partake in BBBJ. Luckily, I have never caught anything. Still best to get checked. A great reminder. You the man.

Any chance of pming which agency?
You should let us know which agency woukd out their customers at increased risk
I think you guys are missing the point here. Which agency it was is irrelevant. As long as guys are still engaging in unsafe activities like BBBJ , avoiding any particular agency is NOT going to protect you from getting syphilis. Condoms, used properly, are an effective means of protection from sexually transmitted infections.

I understand that some men could be uncomfortable with asking their family physician for an STI test, especially if they are married, etc. but this could be done discretely at a clinic.

Remember: it is possible for most STI's to be present without having any symptoms at all so testing is very important.

Here is a link to a list of clinics offering testing for STI's in BC

Hope everyone is staying happy and healthy! XoXo it's a great feeling when you have been tested and there is no longer that question in your back of your mind to wonder about any more. :bathbaby:

EVERYONE partaking in this activity/hobby/business should get regular STI screening through their doctor or public health. Thread closed, we are not going to speculate or divulge medical info publicly on the board. Nor are we going to dive back into another BBBJ debate that erupts into a flame war.
