I've largely dropped off the local scene (and perb for that matter) thanks to SA. I've been on there for years, and much like as been alluded to above, it all comes down to money. The girls are most definitely there, but they're far from the "refined" sex workers you find here and in AMPs and elsewhere. Well, there are escorts and sex workers too, but they're easy to weed out. The rest are:
- single mothers desperate for cash
- ditzy Cactus Club waitresses who want (more) LV purses and expensive shoes
- broke university students just trying to survive and/or pay off loans
- women trying to launch a business, short on expertise and capital
FWIW, talking to the girls, the vast majority of guys on there are:
- socially awkward weirdos who can't really talk to women and are unable to date "for real"
- very old and/or very ugly
- cheapskates and/or guys who think they can buy a legit girlfriend to hang out with them three nights a week for $250 a month
- complete and total assholes
- wealthy, normal single guys who want to enjoy life and don't want the drama of a real relationship
I fall into the last category, and over the years, I've met and had relationships with numerous girls from there. Some lasted days, some lasted years, many lasted months, many overlapped. I've done one-time fee, I've done monthly allowance, I've done hybrid deals... there's no set formula.
I've wined/dined/traveled experienced things which for many of them would never have been possible.
I've mentored two of them from zero money and business expertise to running their own businesses. One of them has been so successful she insisted on paying me back every penny I ever gave her... not just the business loan but the monthly allowance. Two of them were graduate students and of them has gone on to become relatively well-known (she's beautiful and smart so gets quoted in numerous places and has been on TV). One was an olympic hopeful (didn't make the team).
It becomes very easy to screen out what's genuine and who's a pro, and if you're able to offer what these young ladies are looking for (money, wisdom, experience), it's a big pond from which to fish.
The one down-side... these aren't sophisticated sex-workers... they're normal girls, with normal emotions, many of them with the usual daddy issues. So along comes a wealthy supportive father figure, and emotions can get it in the way. Very early in these relationships I say, in all seriousness, "don't fall in love with me". Hahaha, of course not is what I hear back... but I've had to end a few of these relationships because it grew to just that. I don't want that, but in some cases, the girls feel the relationship can turn that corner. For me, it can't because I don't want it. But it's led to some ugly and somewhat "stalky" situations.
