Investigate. Contact current providers. Read this board and get a feel of the personalities you'll be dealing with if not the actual expectations of yourself.
If you do decide to do it, after the first week, create a coherent plan to set goals and get out of the biz as soon as you accomplish them. Once you're in, the longer you stay the hard it is to get out.
stay living with your parents, stay with your min wage job and get an education. Run away from this industry, you can't undo once you've gone down this road.

school was not my strong suit and i find sex to be a very normal fun thing and as long as i did this right there would be no reason for me not to be proud of it
As suggested above, please contact a service provider or agency from your area (there are quite a few advertising on this board), and ask them for advice or inquire about working with an agency. You'll get the best feedback from them.
You're unlikely to ever put it on a resume if at some point you find its not for you and you consider a career change or meet the guy that knocks you off your feet and get the sense that he may not approve of such a past.
As I got older I slowly concluded that the world I saw as an 18 year old wasn't the one I saw in my 30's.
But you as an 18 year old have the sense to ask questions and seek advice, that shows a maturity I didn't have, I just winged it.

I would note: legally established agencies would not be interested as min age for escorting is 19.. also, do your research because there's way too many operators many of whom have very bad reputations which independent SPs in your area can give you insight into!
