Hello all.
I'm 33 and had 2 kids with my previous wife...now divorced. I'm done having anymore kids even with future partners. I'm happy with the 2 I have and just don't want any more kids.
Definitely considering a vasectomy, seeing Dr Pollock next week for a consultation. Had my 2 boys circumcised there. He is definitely the best around for penis work lol.

My parents never got me circumcised and it causes me a lot of grief especially during sex. If I have a lot of sex in a short period of time the foreskin gets all sore, etc.

Considering a circumcision as an adult. Have any of you been circumsised as an adult and know what the recovery is like? I've read no sex for 6 weeks. How about masterbation or r and t's? Don't think I could go 6 weeks without a release! Is the recovery aweful after this procedure?

I'm not as concerned about the vasectomy as many guys get this done, but want to hear about others experiences.

I was fixed many years ago, Rider. It has given me an absolute freedom from worry that I will have any little Feenix's running around, combined with the required financial support. The sex is just as much fun, perhaps with a bit less stress as a result.

The procedure itself was relatively painless. The worst part, as I recall all these years later, was the stinging as the sedative wore off. But, that discomfort ceased within a couple hours. The expected PAIN did not happen with me. Anyone seeing me walk would not have guessed I just had a vasectomy.

In order to be sure that everything worked after the procedure, I jerked off shortly after I got home. It did and continues to to this day.

FYI: in case you don't know, there is no change in the appearance of the ejaculate. You will continue to cum in the same way you always have, except there will be no little fishes swimming aroundin it.

Being only 33, I'd suggest you wait til you are at least 40 before getting snipped.

What if you find the "next one" and she wants to make babies with you? It could be a deal breaker for her.

If you still feel the same way in 10 years then get it done. JMO

It can sometimes be reversed at your cost. Apparently not a sure thing to reconnect the vas.

I have been dispensing seedless juice for along time now without any issues.

I don't understand this part- what do you mean your foreskin gets "sore, etc." after sex? Getting a vasectomy is one thing, but getting a circumcision seems far more painful IMO.

Foreskin gets all red and irritated after having a lot of sex...more than say 3 times in one week. Found this happened when trying for the second kid with the ex. Also find if the girl isn't "wet" enough, my foreskin gets "pulled back" which I find very uncomfortable. Thinking about just getting both procedures done at once or close together. Figure if I'm out of the game for a bit might as well make it all at once.

Definitely done having more kids, would rather find someone who either has kids already or doesn't want them....but better be nice to mine!! My dad's second wife was a total fucking cunt to me when I was a kid!!! She's gone now thankfully! Lol

I've heard sex is way better after getting snipped due to the psychological thing. No more having to think about "God what if she gets pregnant!". I found with my ex when she went off the pill she was way "horny'er!" Changed her hormones I guess. Sex was fantastic! But then came the pregnancy thoughts....no sleep, money issue, pregnancy/delivery, etc, etc!!
Could only imagine the fun of a "horny off the pill girlfriend" and no pregnancy risk sex!! Of course don't want to kill the new sex life with "foreskin issues"!! Lol

Dr. Pollock, i think he has a office in New West and does a different circumcision procedure than others. My grandson had his circumcision with that procedure, it only takes a second but the pain after was pretty bad. I can only imagine as an adult it would be worse. Vasectomy is no problem, just remember a bag of frozen peas is your best friend for awhile.

Hey about the circumcision question, I know a guy "Jim" who went in for tonsils when he was 12, and woke up to a sore throat AND bandages around his penis! Unbeknownst to Jim, his mom told the surgeon to snip his foreskin while he was under the general anesthetic. Presumably recovery time was quick on a kid that age. FWIW the now 50-year-old Jim said he was glad she did it although he still doesn't trust his mom.

After having my first son I didn't think twice about circumcision for them after all the issues I've had in my life.
I know it'll suck getting it done now, but hey can't be worse than a bad marriage!! Lol
T3's and maybe smoke some weed for a bit, think I'll be fine. I'll see what the good Dr says when I see him.
Unfortunately I work in construction and can't really "take it easy at work", while I recover.

Fuck what a nightmare!! Funny how these sorta things happen more to celebrities...I'm always a sceptic when it comes to them....any type of publicity they can get right.
I've heard you need to ejaculate 15-20 to get all the swimmers out! Thinking I'll want to get tested a lot the first few years. Don't want a "whoops" on my hands lol.

Yeah it's not snip-and-go. You're supposed to give it time like you say and then get a motility test after a few months to confirm there's no residual. Until then you assume you're still using "live ammo".

I got snipped in my early 30s by Dr. Pollack and it was a piece of cake. I remember it was almost anticlimactic - the anesthesia was blown through my skin so he didn't even use a syringe and the procedure was about 10 minutes. For recovery, the bag of peas and no strenuous activity for a few days did the trick (you are advised to do no lifting for a few days). The after sensation was more like an awareness that I had testicles as opposed to actual discomfort. What is funny was to prepare for the surgery I had to shave my scrotum and I've kept it shaved since. They recommend you masterbate a number of times before you get tested post surgery and then if there are no swimmers you are all done. No need for additional tests.
As far as circumcision, I was invited to a Islamic ceremonial circumcision when I was in Southeast Asia. It is a rite of passage performed on males when they are either 10 or 12 years old. The ceremony was done in a rural house by a cleric and I think they just used topical anesthesia - the boy looked shell shocked and his penis looked very raw after the ceremony. My host told me that he remembered his own circumcision and that the recovery was about three weeks. I am sure Dr. Pollack will let you know exactly what to expect.

Well I had a vesectomy done about 15 or 16 years ago..... when I divorced ...met a new partner that I really cared about ....and due to the difference of age... her having a child had become very important all of a sudden.....
So started doing research in getting a reversal. ..... well they may not charge to cut off.... but sure damn expensive to hook up again...
I'm talking about $5000 up into $10000 depending who you see and where you go.
Worst part is that..... it's not guarantee to be successful ..... and worst you could get into more complications as to getting infections due to the surgery... and worst case scenario......is having to cut the boys out....
So needless to say.... we said our goodbyes and went each our own ways....
Happy for her..... today she has a daughter...and is pregnant with a second child.... best part for me is ... my balls are intact...and still around....
And the 5 to $10,000.... well I am sure you have a pretty good idea where it went....
The reason I was thinking of maybe fathering another child is mainly because my 2 previous kids are now.adults... both have life of their own.... and obviously Dad... is not as important anymore.... unless they need something of course...

Hahaha made my day,my advice mr rider for the snip not the nip is that you should wait as other said that you should wait because at your age you could end up with real trophy hottie that actually works out and she might want to have kids before mental pause hits then by that time you'll be back here like the rest of us happy that the money you saved from reconnecting the tadpole channel can be used for releasing the hounds

You might want to get the doc to take a look first and see if there is something they can do short of a circumcision to ease your discomfort. Everyone's different, but for all of my post-puberty life have never had discomfort when my 'hood' slips back over my little head. Kinda slips back and forth during sex and actually lowers friction.

it seems to me that instead of trying the reconnect route, one might consider extracting sperm surgically, then doing in vitro fertilization and the woman carrying her own fetus to completion - that would work wouldn't it?
