In Your Wildest Dreams!
Peanut butter and cucumber sandwich?......I don't have the words.

That would be like.....Making me watch Brokeback Mountain, strapped to a chair, with clothes pins holding my eyelids open, and force feeding me 3% American beer.

It's just so wrong ..on so many levels.
Cucumber fresh & cold & crispy keeps the peanut butter from sticking to the roof of your mouth! :D Some people like peanut butter & lettuce; peanut butter & celery is a classic snack...try it! I DARE YOU!

Phillips or Driftwood's barleywines with either stilton cheese or a bit of chocolate covered fudge.

El Dorado 15 yo rum with a Romeo and Julietta Churchill

Highland Park 18yo with smoked salmon
Wow similar tastes although not fan of R&J; prefer El Rey Del Mundo or Monte.

Smoked salmon and 18 yr old. Now that's a great pairing. Saltiness of the salmon with the sweet aftertaste of the whisky.

I was thinking there are a number of great suggestions that will end up on my table when socializing at Christmas time.

I guess I'm having a cucumber and peanut butter sandwich, with a glass of milk for lunch.
I hate when a young lady has figured me out, knows what buttons too push, and dares me too do something.
I was soooo looking forward to my meatloaf sandwich, with Armstrong cheddar, and cup of coffee.

...Miss T..I like a girl who knows a good cut of beef, and tenderloin is top shelf.
..Miss E...Cukes are 4 bucks a piece up here, and milk is 8 bucks a gallon, never mind the hour drive.
Fresh is a matter of perspective..But I'm going to give it a go.I have the supplies.

right here and now
This seems so obvious to me and probably boring to most, but-
A 2" thick AAA strip loin or rib-eye- slathered in olive oil, grey salt (or other) and fresh cracked pepper, charred Chicago style on the Weber (or wood fire if you're so inclined) at about 700 deg for 4 minutes side one and 3 minutes on the flip so it's still a bit bloody on the inside. Rest it under foil for at least 5 minutes. Pair it up with a vaporous and hearty Napa Cab- Mount Veeder comes to mind- or an Eastern Washington Wahluke Slope big red- even an Amarone if in your budget- and savour with a generous spread of extra hot horseradish or stilton cheese! A few slices of San Marzanos or OK over-ripe field beefsteaks with sweet Walla Walla onion, s&p and EVOO on the side.
Not super interesting or creative, but mouth watering for sure.

Allright Miss Erica...Cucumber and peanut butter isn't completely horrible.
I'll stick too my peanut butter and honey on toast, but it wasn't that bad...Even my giant dog left a puddle of drool on the floor.
Don't take that as an over-positive compliment to your sandwich...He drools when I bring in firewood, or change the bedsheets.

Oh I like honey on toasted whole wheat bread with butter along with a cup of that morning coffee with some fruit...

1. I've been known to sit Down on occasion with a jar of pickles, fork and straw :) yes I've paired the pickles right with the pickle juice, the same with pickled beats.

2. I enjoy white or brown rice with soy milk poured on top with banans or raisin. I eat it as you would cereal.

3. Half frozen coconut milk And cantaloupe. Pour the coconut milk in a Bowl with cantaloupe and then chill it all in the freezer.

4) broken up oatmeal cookies in a bowl with homogenized milk on top - eaten again like cereal.

5) I love cucumber cantaloupe smoothies with coconut water.

Interesting a lot of people have the same Olive or Kosher pickles in their snacks too.

Recently tried some Parmigiano Reggiano purchased at Whole Foods in W Van. They had a couple of enormous wheels and were selling wedges that appeared broken off rather than sliced with a machine. Here is a vid from their site about it. Fabulous taste with fig jam on a biscuit and Sicilian olives; paired very well with a Tommasi Amarone.

Moonshine and Baked Possum. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Yumm! OK, I got three. Don't knock 'em till you've tried em.

1) 2pkgs KD with one can of flaked tuna stirred in at end, paired with vanilla milkshake spiked with 1-2oz rum

2) honey and sliced cucumber sandwiches, quartered, paired with muscat, sauternes, or ice wine

3) thin blue corn natchos covered in cheddar and then when, half-cooked, topped with stinky blue cheese and nuked for 70 secs, sour cream and medium salsa on the side and accompanied with two polski-ogorki's and two spanish olives, paired with a couple of ice cold Sleeman's Honey Browns and either an NFL game or UFC event.

Ya Baby!

Punt.

I've never tried that...but now I am intrigued. I do use turmeric every chance I get.. cooking, smoothies & in juices.
I find it a fascinating spice that seems to promote good digestion and a general "wellness feeling" for me. Some people add it to other beverages but I love it straight up with the combo taste of turmeric with lime.

Chicken breast pounded flat
Roll your favourite white cheese , a very thin coat of French Dijon mustard, and Sliced smoked ham.
Roll secure with two toothpicks......place in glass baking pan
Heat a small amount of butter pour over top
Two cups white wine poured in the bottom of pan, careful not to wash the butter off the top of the breasts...bake uncovered till done in oven.....or cover if your at a campfire over the coals.
Serve with mashed spuds ,laced with salt pepper, and parsley, using the wine sauce to coat them.

Women love to gather cows with me....This dish is one of the big reasons my sleeping bag fits two ,and I'm not cold at night in cow camp .
