They are an exciting team to watch live. TV baseball bores the shit out of me so I always try to catch a game when in the US. Baseball fans in away cities seem like civilized people too. Even in Oakland where the A's and the Raiders play. Two very different fan bases; one will share info about their players and have a good conversation while the Raiders fans are like British Soccer hoodlums.

I've seen the Jays pretty much play in all the Western cities, Fenway in Boston and Camden yards in Baltimore. Guess you can call me a fan too.

Jays 1 game behind KC for top record in AL.

I don't know the tie-breaker if Astros-Angels in AL and Cubs-Pirates in NL finish tied.
with Cubs&Bucs it's who gets home field for the one&done Wild Card game(neither of those teams deserves to have to go home after one loss, imo)
with Astros-Angels it's who gets to go to NY.

The Jays have a shot at going all the way, only thing that worries me is their closer, hopefully they can score enough runs to overcome it but pitching and defence usually wins it.

Have to admit l was wrong about them. Really thought they'd tank, but they look to be the real deal.

Exciting team. Still....everything is going so perfectly for them, l wonder if they blew their load on the regular season?

I am happy to see that the BJ's led the Yankees by 6 games. Nice to finally have them back in the postseason.

It seems that the addition of Josh Donaldson put them over the top. You have one man to thank for that: Billy Beane. He ripped the heart out to the A's. And Donaldson is now the front runner for MVP.

it never hurt that they also picked up David Price. Could be their year.

Jays not exactly going into the post-season on a roll.lost 4 of their last 5.still, if Price is hot they'll regain the momentum.

Pirates&Cubs had the 2nd&3rd best records in baseball, but one of them is going home Wednesday after ONE game.

in the AL this season, after approx. 152 games, there was 1(ONE) team eliminated.yes, a couple were on life-support but still mathematically alive.

the NL was more static, the Div leaders&wild card pos'n didn't vary much the last 2 months.

playoffs s/b interesting

Have the BJ's been done in again by the Sports Illustrated jinx?

So far, it looks like it. This has happened way too often to way too many teams and players over the years.

Why give Price 11 days rest between starts WTF.They celebrated too hard after winning the AL east and rested too much, you cant just turn it off and turn it back on again. They have a huge amount of talent but Gibbons is an idiot.

He pulled Stroman when he shouldn't have  Regardless how you see it....8th inning, he was still pitching a strong game and he should have finished the inning. He gave up only 1 base hit in the 8th, and you can clearly see that he was upset being pulled. Had he stayed in the game.....I'm quite sure the Blue jays would had game 2 locked up.

Gibbons makes a lot of bad coaching decisions because of his " very quick to pull the trigger " move. He's blown many many games because of that.

Jays have to win each and every inning to survive this series. Estrada has a huge chance to become a hero in game 3. And...the start of game 1 and 2, foolish errors opened the door for Texas to jump in front early. At playoff time.....Foolish errors are not an option!! If they win game 3, they MIGHT have a slight chance at game 5 at Rogers. Very tough hill to climb.

What an incredible game today. That 7th inning is the strangest thing I have ever seen.

A Win is a Win is a Win. After 22 years it didn't have to beautiful - and certainly wasn't.

I'm guessing Estrada starts Game 1 as he'll have his 4 days rest, then either Dickey or Price in Game 2,as they'll both have 4 days rest.

Has anyone seen that happen before? I'm referring to Martin's errant throw hitting the batter's bat?

in the NL, I think the Cubs will not have home field cuz they were the Wild Card....even tho' their record is better than either NY or LA.

That play with Shin-Soo Choo has probably happened before, but it must be very rare.

What I do not understand is why did Choo not get an RBI? The ball came off his bat, right? LOL.

It was an error on the catcher so no RBI

It would have been awesome if Choo ran to first.

ran into a hot pitcher tonight,Volquez was very effective.

need Price to bring it tomorrow.

Cubs starting Lester in Game 1,Arrietta in Game 2, thought it'd be other way around, but Joe Maddon knows what he's doing.
