Time to let him go, just like Mulcair's commercial said. But Mulcair's platform is weak so I won't be voting for him. He's just under-qualified for this position. May looks good on paper but she doesn't have a chance. I guess Trudeau get's my vote by default. I guess he is ready after all.

Would a vote for any party really make a difference? Since when did any elected party ever make a real difference to the lives of most of us?

Who's your choice?

Should have also had Anyone But Harper choice.

Hopefully Canada can move forward through a coalition of Liberals and NDP with the excellent Elizabeth May to be their conscience. It can be done … anyone remember Pearson and the minority governments of the early 60s? The put through some very important legislation that was hammered out through cooperation.

The choice for me is simple, time to give Trudeau a chance...
have you even listened to anything he's been saying?

he's a simpleton, out of the leaders, he's the most incompetent

it's be like putting a 18yr old in charge, he can't even have a conversation without a script

he's an airhead, a manchild, lets hope Ontario isn't that stupid

May would be a better choice

May would be the best choice but realistically she won't be the next PM.

There is "not ready", but with potential as Trudeau is - and - then there is truly nasty and incompetent as May is.

lol, she may be why "Angry Tom" has been giving Harper and Trudeau a run for their money. Angry and competent is so much better than nasty and incompetent.

I was working while listening to the debate and was astonished how pathetic Trudeau was as a debater.

I just shook my head thinking potentially our next PM is more like his mother than his father. I can't recall there being such a sad sack of leadership choices in a Federal Election.

sdw … she has got pissed once or twice but which politician hasn't and incompetence is the last thing one can accuse her of.

In fact none of the leaders are incompetent … wouldn't it say volumes about we the people, who have elected them one way or another!!!!!

lol, pathetic, you can do better

well, probably not, but you could at least make it look like you put in an effort, lol
The feeling is mutual and why would I waste any more time on you. Got better things to do.

I finallyl voted NDP here, but to vote strategically I have to vote Liberal.

But, as much as l heted his father, Justin Trudeau has quite impressed me with his knowledge and quickness.

As for the "not quite ready" label the Con Artists have put on him - Stephen Harper was about the same age when he was elected PM.

lol, his knowledge of how a economy grows from the heart outwards, why Putin invaded Ukraine, cause they lost the gold medal in hockey, how a Canadian is a Canadian, unless you're a war criminal or Tom trying to vacation in Europe, how budgets balance themselves, how he couldn't tell a reporter how much his promises will cost, then told him to go add it up himself, this is what you find impressive?

you're easily impressed

quick, that's a good one too :pound:

funny thing is, last years budget did seem to balance itself!! Harper predicted a deficit and lo and behold a small surplus

Don't be fooled by this surplus.

I have sold systems to the Feds at many of their DND, Transport Canada now NavCanada locations etc etc. The money will be there, the confirmed delivery prior to end of Fiscal year is set up and then when the order is supposed to drop the purchasing heads tell all departments to tighten their belts.

It happens in every election year that capital purchases are put on hold for a year so the Finance People can make themselves look like they are doing a great job.

Libs, Cons all have done it and then go on a spending spree in the 2 and 3 years of their mandates.

Since the start of this election, I was supporting the NDP and my vote was theirs to lose. And they've lost my support for planning to cater to Québec after losing support in the province. You can't give Québec, and only Québec, the option to opt out of federal programs. Really pisses me off that one province still gets preferential treatment.

Doesn't matter locally though, since I'm strategically voting NDP in my riding. Still have to make sure the Conservatives do not come to power above all else.
