What will it take for you to quit this hobby?

Yep..that would do it for me if it was my LAST CHOICE...
LOL, real Japanese is like pure gold to me. Ahhhhh, a couple of years ago a mid 35-40 yo Japanese flight attendant asked me to played tennis and I did not take her up on it, why ? I thought I could do better, like the next best thing is coming and sadly it did not. How I missed her.
We don't need to be looking to find Mr or Ms. Right, but it helps to be open to the possibility and recognize the possibility when it happens.
I'm in the 'recognising the possibility' stage at the moment (we both are), but with an understanding that we can't do anything for the next few years...

I think it's healthy to take breaks from any kind of vice (if you do see it as a vice) However, this is an option for those who may not find the gratification they are looking for in typical relationships. Dating is expensive and the games that have to be played in order to have some some sexy fun are insanely high. I think even when I retire from this business, I will probably be one to partake on the client side..
I'm in the hobby until health or finances dictate otherwise.
This is a result of the significant other's "shutting shop" years ago, combined with a comment "as long as she doesn't have to hear about it".
I prefer the professionals: there's no nonsense, the menu is posted, and the skills are evident.
I have no interest in the AshleyMadison emotional minefield, or chasing barflies/cougars.

I made a Herculean effort to date and hook up in my teens and early 20's. However, it became crystal clear that any halfway attractive girl (i.e. not fat) was off limits. So I gave up and have been exclusively boffing sp's ever since.
If I ever manage to land a slender college age girl, I'll quit this hobby immediately. But that's unlikely to happen. I have no interest in settling for a peer who gave her best years to Chads.

I could see myself slowing down if I was in a serious long-term relationship (or another marriage) again.
The question is... would I be honest about my dalliances with an SP? While most men would not, I like to think I'll date someone who is open-minded enough to join me sometimes, and understands that meeting with an SP sometimes is not a threat to a relationship.
My ATF SP Sweet Bree assures me that there are beautiful women out there who are in serious committed relationships that regularly see SP's with their hubby and sometimes even alone. Wow!! Did that ever blow my mind... now where to find one of those for me.
I suppose the only reason I'd quit would be if it would cause financial stress. It is such a great stress reliever for me and I often think more people should try it.
And there are so many great ladies in Vancouver I've still yet to try.
