Not saying it's you, but it happens a lot and needs repeating.
One of my best friends is a retired lady. You would not believe the texts and emails she got. One guy she had never seen sent her texts hourly for a couple of days, steadily getting more and more obnoxious. It's a really common trait among guys and a very good way to ensure the lady will never see you.
I know everyone reading is going OMG that guy must have been a weirdo...but she had lots of guys do that and it eventually made her retire. Grown men throwing hissy fits because they didn't get immediate attention.
Another time I picked her up at the airport. She turns her escorting phone on and there are over three hundred messages. Do you really think anyone has the time to process that many? Sure each one only take a minute, but hundreds add up. Thank god I had her personal phone number.

Bang on WW, I am friends with one former and one current and both get some very obnoxious text messages. As well hundreds in a day is in understatement on some days!
