So I got together with a retired SP awhile back....been to lunch and brunch a few times...tonight it's out to dinner. Wife is working late so the coast is clear, just have to watch out the coach doesn't turn into a pumpkin at midnight. After that.....where should I go with this ?

Wife couldn't care less, nor do I care what she has to say about it..........we are on separate paths and it's just a matter of the paperwork to be completed.

Don't know her, but good luck to her......as to who I'm referring to, well sometimes confidentiality extends beyond time in the industry, and this is one of these times.

Just go with it uncleg. From the vibe I get from you, you're a great person and people around you know it. You never know what will happen in life, we have to live it. Just like when I got to meet you. I should have realized who you were but my attention was elsewhere that day

You've served your country well,...lick your wounds like the Lion, and focus on yourself and whats to come....You've more than earned that right.

Thanks sybian but............you served your country, I served somebody else's...she's still serving our country....we all put the uniform on for what we saw as the right reasons and did what we had to do. That's what actually makes it hard/harder in a way then breaking up a strictly "civilian" marriage...sometimes it's harder to see what has gone sideways or why. But, it's not like it'll take an emotional toll...financial maybe, but I can live with that.
