Banned SP's

Is it just me or has any-one else noticed more banned SP's
Was just going through my profile & noticed that a few of the SP's in my list are now banned. More than one of them are very well known?
Just throwing it out there & NO I am not going to name names.

I suspect there's a few of us who are moving on from here for a couple reasons...I think that trend will continue as well.

Why would you have to be banned to move on? Just move on and close one's account. I know of two that have been banned, recently, can't say I was broken up by either.

Yes, Harper government are trying to stop advertisement of legitimate services.

If you mean PERB then no. Mods usually don't intervene unless somebody flagged a post. There are legitimate reasons for an action - personal insults, shilling/trolling, using multiple accounts, disclosing personal information. Those are dealt with, as they should be. It's not realistic to have all actions explained, especially as you won't see the offending posts that had to be taken down.

How do you know who is banned?

It will say banned under your name to the left.

like badger said... for an example see post #5 above - by the recently banned 'cantor'. or any thread where the recently banned sp 'travellor' posted

I know an SP that was banned a few years ago. Can't see any of her posts before banning, not sure why that is?
